CINCINNATI?S JORGENSEN SUSPENDED

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Ryan Jorgensen of the Cincinnati Reds has received a 50-game suspension for violating Major League Baseball?s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The funny thing is redszone was all over this last month when he posted under "keymastur" on the site. Somebody traced it back to a steroid message board and sent it in to the commish's office.

If this is true, Ryan Jorgenson is an idiot. (He's an idiot now for doing roids but that would be the icing on the cake.)

You guys need to leave him alone and realize that most players use roids, only ones that get caught are the ones who are not considered stars. WHY? Because it assures the crowd that it applies to everyone! Leave Jorge alone, he's a great guy, I hope he gets through this OK.

Rafael Palmeiro isn't a star?

Troy Glaus can be considered a "star".

He's also an idiot for not capitalizing the beginning of sentences when he posted here.

:lol :lol :lol

Gold.

aw man, come on Jorg.

on another note: he responded to the fanmail I sent him...only took a year and a half :|

I'm not so sure thats him. In a post this person states that he does not take steroids and that he has a BS in Physics and Anatomy.

Busted for what? Oh, you must think that b/c this is an AS related board, everyone on here uses them. No, no, no, you've got it all wrong my friend. You see, we're all in the medical field and doing scientific research. You, in case the world as we know it today may need us and our knowledge sometime in the future. As of now I have a BS in Physics and Anatomy, and I'm working on my AS in Synthetic Biochemistry.

Geez. Double dose of sad and disappointing news with Ankiel and Jorg. But I guess both guys need to make a living somehow. I doubt Jorg regrets doing it even now that he got caught.

Is this your guy: http://www.rubbins-racin.com/forum/viewtop...ec3f3fee1f26e9d

Why would someone who has a BS work backwards for an AS?

Exactly.

Why? If there is a MLB player dumb enough to leave obvious tracks to a steroid message board, shouldn't they say something? It takes an idiot to get caught by the lame policy MLB has right now, and Jorgensen certainly is one though. Then again, AAAA guys like him are the ones I can see logic behind using the juice. It's still wrong, but at least it makes sense for a borderline player to try and get that edge, as opposed to guys with several hundred home runs.
