I see Hammer here, till Stanton is ready...by that time, Hammer might still stay on the team, as a guy who can provide a role off the bench. I've always viewed Hammer as our Garrett Anderson (who plays for the Angels), ever since Hammer moved to LF.
June 6, 200818 yr Author The big question is, do you leave Uggla at 3B and trade Dominguez, or do you keep Dominguez until he's ready and trade Uggla? I like the latter. Dominguez is about a decade younger, and fact is, Dan Uggla's trade value is much better, right now (at its best, actually).

Three consecutive seasons with back problems (which don't get "better" they are just better "managed") should tell you that was a failed attempt at a position change.

June 7, 200818 yr Author The pitching is definitely the toughest. It's not proven, but look at the organization, and the pitching potential is quite deep. I look at my team, and then some other people, and you guys did a great job. Thompson has been mentioned...Gaby Hernandez has been mentioned. De La Cruz, etc., etc., etc. I think it'll be interesting to see what Beinfest/Hill do with the pitching depth, and Uggla.

Willingham is so buried on the catching depth chart... it'd take a monumental disaster to finally get to him: Treanor, Rabelo, Hoover, Jacobs, and heck, even Amezaga might be above Willingham on the catching tiers right now

We would be seeing a lot 3-5 bounce throws to 2nd to not get the runner. Not to mention that they say he was a sh*tty catcher anyways. It'd be like Miguel Olivo with no arm.
