Just wondering...was I the only guy screaming at Bo Porter in the 2nd inning today, when Olsen got a hit with 2 outs, and he decided to put up a stop sign?

If Cody doesn't hit the HR, that's one of the deciding factors in the game.

 

That game was so frustrating up until that HR. :lol

 

I also didn't like bringing in Kensing, in the 8th. Not that I see him as part of this team's future or anything, but just FOR NOW, with our youngsters struggling, maybe Joe Nelson deserves his chance at the setup role. To be honest, I thought Pinto should've stayed to pitch the 8th inning, as well, with lefties like Dunn and Votto up.

 

With that said...this is, ultimately, the best game I've ever been to.

 

And for those who stayed for the concert...it was great. At the end of the concert, everyone who stayed was chanting "LETS GO MARLINS!", as well as "CODY, CO-DY, CO-DY!!!" It was great.

This has to be the best game that ive seen in a while.

 

I was there tonight and I've never seen that stadium so loud and excited. My best baseball experience to date.

i was behind home plate in 9inng so be easy to get to car i was seating in fishtank rest game all people in area were calling coddy name we know he can hit out when we need it he hit ball so hard we know it going out of ballpark near fishtank good thing we have gonz on base after we got run in bottom of 9 as soon we left out ballpark the look we won world series everyone was jumping up and down after the way game was going we need that angle in outfield it came left us to WIN that team needed soooooooooo badly good thing alanta lost too that keep us second place

A walk-off homer and I didn't have to see Ken Goofy Jr. hit any milestones. It was a great night at the ballpark.

It was a great win tonight. An exciting win makes spelling overrated, anyways. :hat

Can't forget the crowd tonight. They were loud and crazy!! If I was there I would have been jumping 20 feet in the air screaming.

When that ball cleared the fence, my face went from frustration, to craziness. I almost hugged the guy next to me...and I also lost the cowbell, I had in my hand. I still don't know where it is; I'm guessing I smashed it on the floor, right after I hugged my dad.

 

You have no idea how many times that fantasy went through my head from about 6:00 PM on. LOL

 

Seriously tho... Before the game I just knew I was going to be hating this promotion. And the short rain delay didn't help. But it really wasn't too bad during the game.

Those annoying cowbells haunt me! It was a great game, and very quietly, Burke got the win. He came in and pitched well when the team really needed it badly. He deserved that win. He better thank Cody. But nobody deserved it more than Scotty.

The game was amzaing. I was at the bullpen section 3rd row. I knew cody was going to hit it out, something told me. The crowd was awesome and we never gave up and we came out on top. Scott did great but the defense not so much. Lol i still remember the people near us chanting at griffey and he looked back with like a mean stare lol

I'm wondering if Pinto throwing Friday and Saturday, plus throwing 20 pitches on Saturday had anything to do with him not coming out for a second inning.

When we were parking for the game on Sunday a guy was parking behind us with the Florida tag "I SCOUT" and Dodgers stickers on his Hummer. I asked him if he was there to spy on us or the Reds. He laughed and then said both. Then we walked to the gate together and chatted. He commented on Cody and said there were a couple folks including himself in the Dodgers org that were quite upset when they got rid of Cody. Pretty nice guy, very friendly.
