that's exactly what i think, if they know their homerun approach does not work against moyer, they need to do something different. they cant always be waiting for the pitcher to make a mistake.

How about putting Cantu at 2B on Tuesday?

Uggla has always sucked against Moyer; Jacobs seems to hit him well, and so does Helms, so this gives both Jake & Helms a start on Tuesday, and you can leave Cantu in there, who has a .983 .OPS against lefties this year.

well looks like the marlins are still trying to only hit homeruns, dont expect them to change their approach against moyer

The Marlins are going to use him as a condom tonight.

Every time we have faced Moyer the last two seasons, I say, "Today's the day." But at this point, I really don't know if it's possible. And the last few times we have faced him has been after an off-day or All Star break, and I get excited after a day or so of no Marlins game to resume play...but Moyer just ruins it. Damn that man. I really hate him.
