its the same thing for me here in central florida but it is on sun sports so check your sun sports channel...i think they have to black it out if its being broadcast on sun sports in your area..if its not on sun sports then i dont think it should be blacked out...hope that helps

glad it wasn't blacked out here. this was the first marlins game i got to see on tv this season.

Got all settled to watch it on TBS and it came up blacked out, and my hotel ain't got Sun Sports or FSN. Ended up watching it via MLB.TV on my tiny web-book (after half an hour of searching for a proxy I could tunnel through).

today we went to aj's to watch the game... they still get everything on DirecTV up here in tally. we should all just head there and have our own tallahassee watch parties whenever we're blacked out!!!

Shouldn't be. North and Central Florida, and southwest Alabama, are all shared by the Marlins and Rays (SW Alabama gets the Braves too). The only area in Florida that would black out the Marlins is the Tampa Bay market. Even in Orlando we get both the Rays and Marlins.

This is the bottom line for everyone in Tallahassee.

 

The 55 games on this list, no matter where they are being broadcasted, will not be available through Comcast.

We get blacked out from national broadcasts because the big networks (ESPN, FOX, TBS) recognize that we are in Marlins territory, but do not realize that the game is not being broadcast by local providers.

 

Once again, the games on that list will not be shown in Tallahassee, regardless of the station broadcasting them, the Rays schedule, or any other broadcast variables.

MLB.tv is blacked out in Tallahassee and I am not sure about DirecTv but some apartment complexes do not give you the option of a different company etc. They provide everything for you.

This. My apartment complex pays for our cable, and DirecTV is not available. Extra Innings won't show these games, neither will MLB.TV. SO, we're stuck.
