Matt Lindstrom closing games is about as big a joke as Emilio Bonifacio leading off. As I've said...good thing the role, itself, is pretty overrated. Pretty sad we can't rely on him for a 3 run lead, however. We're just babying him & making excuses for him b/c he throws 100 and it looks fancy. Fact is, he's no better than Kevin Gregg...the guy everyone loves making fun of. The only difference is, Fredi appears to have learned from last year...so now, when Lindstrom struggles, he has guys ready to replace him.

You weren't saying this stuff when he was doing good closing games out. Look, at the beginning of the year I didn't trust him like you don't trust him. But now I do believe he can be a pretty solid closer. No one is calling him DOMINATE, Erick. And we don't need him to be dominate. We just need him to play solid ball.

Leo saved it after the matt loaded the bases. Leo did give up a hit to rowand which scored 2 but then got renteria.
