April 18, 201016 yr W: Robertson (2-0) L: Hamels (2-1) S: Nunez (3) HR: Uggla (3) 2B: N Robertson (1, C Hamels); C Maybin (2, C Hamels); D Uggla (4, R Madson) SB: Maybin (3) Marlins win 2-0 and take the series!
April 18, 201016 yr Hell of a job by Nate Robertson. I give him player of the game. The Phillies announcers kept saying how impressive Uggla looks and how it seems that he's turned into a complete hitter.
April 18, 201016 yr Gotta give it to Uggla. Had a huge bat today. Excellent job by the pitching staff though. Robertson pitched pretty darn well (would have liked to see less walks though), and Hopper and Nunez were great. All around nice day for the Marlins.
April 18, 201016 yr Nate is the player of the game. Without his pitching performance we probably would have lost. It's kinda hard to win in Philly with only two runs scored.
April 18, 201016 yr Defense was great all day except for that one error. Really picked up Nate and got us through most of that game. I gave it to them but it could go to any of those on the poll.
April 18, 201016 yr I voted for Nate. 7 shut out innings against philadelphia will get my vote every time
April 18, 201016 yr Let's not forget Jayson Werth basically stealing a run from his own team with his terrible base running in the 4th(?). That was huge.
April 18, 201016 yr Great series by the team as a whole, especially the pitching. Glad to see we left Philly with a series win.
April 18, 201016 yr Author They are probably going to be overshadowed by the other choices, but Hopper and Nunez were fantastic as well shutting down the Phillies. I want to see more of the Leo Nunez that uses his changeup efficiently.
April 18, 201016 yr I gotta say, early on I was apprehensive about Nunez closing...but lately he has sparked my confidence. If we could just get Meyer turned around and find the guts to get rid of Veras we may have a decent pen. Starting rotation seems solid, except for Sanchez...he just doesn't have much confidence. I say send him down to NOLA if he has another rough start. 2010 looks bright for the Marlins!
April 18, 201016 yr I give Fish of the game a two way tie. Uggla and Robertson. I don't want to make a decision.

April 18, 201016 yr also i'm a bit surprised that Robertson did as well as he did when he had 4 walks to 4 strikeouts.
April 18, 201016 yr Author I give Fish of the game a two way tie. Uggla and Robertson. I don't want to make a decision. No. You must pick. It is imperative that you make a choice.
April 18, 201016 yr Gotta go with Nate here, with Uggla a very close second. Very nice to take a series from the Phillies at their stadium.
April 18, 201016 yr Author also i'm a bit surprised that Robertson did as well as he did when he had 4 walks to 4 strikeouts. The D backed him up big time.
April 18, 201016 yr Tough choice today I'll have to give it to Nate Dogg though. Pleasantly surprised by Robertson, not sure why but thought he would get rocked today. Great way to start this roadie.
April 18, 201016 yr Leo is locating his changeup, and it's really filthy. Hopper is becoming really valuable in middle relief. I give it to the bullpen, for making me feel like we could actually have something good out there, today. It's been the main complaint of the year thus far, so hopefully those 2 guys continue what they're doing, at least.
April 18, 201016 yr I give Fish of the game a two way tie. Uggla and Robertson. I don't want to make a decision. This. And I was really impressed with Coghlan's athleticism in LF and Maybin's nice catch (although a poor subsequent throw). Wow @ Robertson, Hopper, and NUNEZ!
April 18, 201016 yr I like the usage of Hop as a fireman. He's the closest thing we've got to one in the pen right now.
April 18, 201016 yr I like the usage of Hop as a fireman. He's the closest thing we've got to one in the pen right now. I love it. 8 K/1 BB in 9.2 IP. That's a beautiful thing. And 14 GO:10 FO.
April 18, 201016 yr He's currently on pace to finish with 121 IP. If he's stretched out, keep him stretched out. Turn him into the Mike Marshall of the 2000's.
April 18, 201016 yr I opted for Uggla although Robertson deserves lots of praise also. Early days still but that trade is starting to pay dividends. Exceptional pitching to limit potentially the best offense in the Majors to 1 run over the final 2 games of this series. Now onto Texas!
