Hammerhead
Shouldn't even be an other option. 8 innings of shutout in the second biggest hitters' park in the league. Amazing.

canada-marlin24
good game and a big win. johnson was amazing as usual. however, not happy with only getting 1 run in the first and a huge homer by uggla in the 9th. You could feel that he was gonna hit one. sad thing is we just ended a losing streak of 4 games where we gave away 3 of them. atlanta blew a 5 run lead today and still came back in the 9th....thats what we need to do to win and not let teams know they can walk on us when we get rattled. Anonymous
I don't know why I ever thought Nolasco could be the ace of this team over JJ. He's simply incredible.
Rabbethan
Man, I just got back to the hotel from CBP and that was too much fun. I was the ONLY one I could hear clapping for any of our player but the Phans were pretty damn nice to be surprising. Well, for most of the game until Uggla hit his homer and I, wearing my Uggla jersey, jumped up in joy. Next thing I knew everyone in the sections near were booing, but not at Uggla, but at me. A group of fans started chanting "Somebody punch 'Uggla'". That was actually pretty awesome. I got more hard looks after I pumped my fist on Leo's K. All in all, it was awesome. JJ rules all for letting me be witness to that.

popeyethesailor
will jj be only one get 15 win of marlins pitching staff???? and only one gave us must wins? With reasonable run support Volstad could have 6 wins by now. Johnson seems to get the must wins and is clutch.
Entendu
I voted for Fredi. He didn't take JJ out of the game and allow our bullpen to 'help' in the 7th or 8th. ?

CyggyMarlin
I was impressed with the one Stanton AB when he lined out to Center... It was an out, but still...his 2nd game and he made very good contact off of Roy Halladay during that AB... Despite the few K's he's had and the hit to right on Tuesday, he has been hitting the ball up the middle / center field.... Once he gets more experience and more comfortable seeing MLB level pitching, he'll be fine
