Gaby has not been good in the 3 Spot, he was hitting .250 with a .724 OPS going into the game hitting 3rd. He should be moved back to the 2 spot and either put LoMo or Uggla in the 3 spot. Here's my order from here on out Hanley Gaby LoMo Uggla Stanton Cody Murphy/Helms Paulino/Hayes As much as I hate to say it, our playoff hopes are all but over. We should be a solid contender with the productive bats of Morrison and Stanton for a full season and hopefully a resurgent Coghlan and a solid Maybin.

Can't believe we just let that fat f*** Cordero off the hook. thats exactly how i normally put it. i mean i dont even know what to say. right before the inning i was like oh we could use bases loaded no one out and what do you know, we get it. had one of the guys we wanted up there and i have no idea how you swing at the first pitch when the guy wasnt throwing anything for strikes. that seems to really be gaby's problem sometimes, he swings at the first pitch in big siutations like that. just f***ing terrible, if that was leo on the mound the reds would have tore us a new asshole.

I have no stats in front of me, but I don't think this team has been on a 5 game winning or losing streak all year long, and we haven't been 5 games over or under .500 all year long. This team is playing exactly like the team it is, a .500 team this year. It is what it is. Changes in the bullpen, and a lineup that consists of a full season of Stanton and Morrison with Maybin in CF and Coghlan at 3B, and possibly more consistency in Nolasco next year, and this team should be better in 2011.

This is one reason why he most likely will be gone next season and replaced by Maybin. He is very streaky and we have to many streaky hitters in the lineup to start.

Changes in the bullpen, and a lineup that consists of a full season of Stanton and Morrison with Maybin in CF and Coghlan at 3B, and possibly more consistency in Nolasco next year, and this team should be better in 2011. yes that could be true but when a team is constantly in a position to win games and every time its someone else who f***s up and very often is someone who may have just helped us win a game. gaby has been very solid for us this year and so has clay and you wouldnt think that the reason for the loss is solely on their shoulders. plus, uggla was probably so amped up after the double play he just flailed at the first pitch. these are the guys that should be coming through and thats what makes a winning team.

Uggla in the 3 spot would be terrible considering he's been raking batting cleanup. LoMo sure. Logan Morrison has a slugging percentage (.339) lower than Hanley's batting average was last year. Forgive me for criticizing, but Logan really isn't doing anything of note except hitting some singles and getting some walks. He's far from a number 3 hitter.
August 15, 201016 yr I hate not having a lineup that strikes fear into an opposing team. When I hear our middle of the order compared to other middle of the order guys...it's a bit underwhelming. When all the pieces are moving in sync, this is a dangerous team. Otherwise, we get a lackluster result. I've joined the Cody Ross bandwagon to leave town, he's irritating to watch when cold.

As much as I wanna agree... after a strong 2009 we also "should" have been better in 2010 too. But not much as gone right. Our starting pitching has been good as a whole... but our offense has been inconsistent and our pen and defense have been atrocious overall. Even our bench was lame until about a month ago. My point is simple, going from 2009-2010 things did seem positive as well. So how do we know 2011 will actually be better?
