Marlins take the first game against the Cards, 6-5!

W: Mujica (3-1)

L: Boggs (0-2)

S: Nunez (10)

2B: E Bonifacio (5)

3B: M Stanton (1)

HR: M Stanton (4); G Sanchez (4)

wow you had a feeling doom was coming when gaby didnt catch that.

great pitch by leo to get rasmus to roll over.

good win but that still doensnt mean that chris volstad is any good. just another 5 earned run start for him.

Exciting win!

Stanton was awesome tonight!

Bullpen was awesome as well!

Great win, Marlins still playing some fantastic baseball.

Hanley... eh...

May = 2-0

Just another win when Volstad pitches. I'll take those any day.

hanley saved the game with his catch.

I'm just concerned the walk issued.

If we can reduce the number of allowed walk, we are more stronger than ever.

tied for first!

I hope I'm wrong, but reality is eventually gonna catch up with leo

1.1 WHIP and a better than 3:1 K/BB ratio....I hope reality keeps kicking.

He made two bad pitches today - the wild pitch and ball 4 on the batter he walked.

Nunez is pitching quite well

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about with Nunez; he hasn't been "lucky" this year. He keeps getting saves, and we'll be in the playoffs.

If some of you are referring to yesterday, Brian Sanches got him in that mess. Today, it was just a leadoff walk; aside from that though, he was fine.

He's been fine. It's not as if his 10-for-10 # is coming with a Matt Lindstrom-like WHIP or something.

Nice job by Mujica to bounce back, as well. And Hensley was able to get some tough hitters, although I'm not really liking how he's pitching so far this year, to be honest.

7-3 in our last 10, AKA the 2 best teams in the NL Central and the NL west. Despite the injuries, we're finding ways to beat the best teams in the league.

It's pretty funny that the Mets are the only team who has taken a series from us so far.

6th in ESPN's power rankings, 6th in run differential, tied for the 2nd best record in the big leagues, 1st in the National League. 2nd in RPI because we're playing/beating good teams (I know which games you win or lose doesn't factor into RPI).
