I sure hope the interest in Reyes has sparked something competitive in Hanley......he really was a let down last year, and I felt since he has his payday he has really acted the diva part well.

i think we should try and do anything to give dominguez, gaby, and nolasco rather than trade away lomo.

I don't think the A's want Gaby is the only thing.

 

Well, he's definitely older than Morrison... But if you can get an All-Star first baseman under club control for quite a long time, with two or three more guys that can help your club, how can you justify not doing it? I just don't see us parting with Morrison, not to mention I'm sure they could find a place for guys like Dominguez and Hand.

I agree, even though we all think he is a douche, I still think LoMo has star quality and an "it" factor. He could develop more than predicted and being such a large "personality" could be good for the Marlins, by bringing them attention in the national media, something that the retiring personality of Mike Stanton just doesn't do (at least yet).

no offense, but be honest. gaby is not an all star. he is really quite average.

All three of them had to meet with the team this week because of the uniform measurements. Had to make sure the unis will fit properly. Now that was the plan all along.

If we throw Gaby Sanchez in along with Matty D and Chad James, that might be enough to get Oakland to bite. Or at least listen.

I think it's LoMo or bust. Oakland desperately needs offense and they probably want no part of a kid who is still having troubles in AAA. They want someone that can hit right now.

The team met with Pujols today, Reyes on Wednesday and Buehrle on Tuesday but apparently already felt comfortable enough to make contract offers, though Heyman reports there is "nothing close" to a deal with any of the three.

Since were all really just throwing all hell to the wind forum wise, ill ask this here. Can anyone get around the block on the Florida Marlins site. I want to get in and check out the webcam. I wonder if the plastic they put down is where they will do the ceremony.
