Admin
Yeah yeah but in the 4 games thus far, he's been good in nearly every chance he's gotten. Meanwhile the starting lineup is full of duds especially Reyes.

Maxx
I'm playing on Veteran and after losing the first three I finally beat Cinci in the last game of that series. I'm currently up 2-0 on Philly, I seem to have finally gotten the hang of hitting a bit.

Admin
I do think it's a great commercial, but do they have to air it that goddamn much? I swear I see it at least once for every commercial break. Maybe I'm watching too much spring training baseball.
I Love Me Some Fish
Does anyone find analog hitting is much easier to use than the buttons? Last year's game was the first Show I owned and I just could never get a handle on using the buttons.
Michael
I enjoy analog hitting much more myself - I hope MVP Baseball, when it comes back, uses it as well. [i play the 2K series due to xbox...]

[i play the 2K series due to xbox...] I could see them doing that especially how popular the analog is on the NHL series. I feel more satisfaction using the stick to throw pictures and swing then pressing a button.

[i play the 2K series due to xbox...] I loved using analog until this season. I don't know if they changed something or it's just me, but I just can't hit at all anymore. Usually it takes me like a day or two to get back into it but a full week of play and I just can't get my stride timing down without throwing off my swing timing. Dr Beinfest
I played it yesterday -- fun stuff. Only complaint is that the batter's eye thingy is impossible to see (the whole thing with predicting pitches or whatever).

No, I've played with that as I usually do. It's just the initial stride to swing timing that's killing me. I gave up and have gone to the buttons, sadly. Overhed
Beginner or whatever the lowest level is. Just makes it even sadder that I can't put together any offense. Check out this thread on Reddit. Also check out my comment below the original post. Work on pitch recognition and the approach that the OP suggests, and you'll be crushing the CPU and playing in All-Star mode in no time. http://www.reddit.com/r/MLBTheShow/comments/qvabl/so_youre_having_trouble_with_the_show/

I Love Me Some Fish
So after scoring no more than 3 runs in the first 4 games I played, I scored 16 with the D-Backs. I have passed new game syndrome.
Admin
In RTTS, I was traded to the Astros. I made it to the majors as a September call-up in my first season playing because of that probably but still.

In 2K10, you just stayed with the same team unless you demanded a trade. You were automatically re-signed when you reached Free Agency. It sucks! lol

I Love Me Some Fish
Having trouble holding 1-3 run leads late. It seems like they always tie it up in the 7th with my starter still in the game. It's annoying as sh*t.
Michael
Check your pitcher's stamina / energy level at that point, might be too low. In that case, warm up a bullpen guy and bring em in.
