July 31, 201213 yr That's crazy but yeah, good for him. Hopefully he gets at least a .700 OPS so he doesn't embarrass himself. That's a big risk to take for a team competing for a playoff spot.

Marlins acquired OF Gorkys Hernandez, RHP Kyle Kaminska and a 2013 competitive balance pick from the Pirates for 1B Gaby Sanchez-rotoworld But yea sorry. Again for Kaminska they messed up Kyle Kaminska - R - Pirates Marlins acquired RHP Kyle Kaminska, OF Gorkys Hernandez and a 2013 competitive balance pick from the Pirates for 1B Gaby Sanchez. Kaminska, 23, has an underwhelming 4.34 ERA over parts of six seasons in the minors. This includes a 5.11 ERA and 42/9 K/BB ratio over 49 1/3 innings this season with Double-A Jacksonville. He has excellent control, but likely profiles as a middle reliever at best.

Probably some combo of G. Hernandez, Bryan Petersen, Scott Cousins.

July 31, 201213 yr I don't get the feeling that the FO is going to go and spend money. They were very deliberate in dealing anyone due for a raise, or who was under a big contract (Hanley, Choate, Anibal, Gaby). I'm about 90% sure that Loria was willing to spend the money for the 1st year of the stadium, but once that team fell apart, he wanted to bring the payroll back into a more reasonable range.
July 31, 201213 yr I think Yelich is alot more ML ready than Cox. What? How is that? Cox played in college and has had 3 years in the minors. Yelich was a HS draft pick and is still in High A. Realistically we're looking at late 2013 unless he has an amazing spring and we aren't spending the money on another outfielder.
July 31, 201213 yr But in the future we have a lineup of C- Brantly/ Realmuto 1b- Lomo 2b- Boni SS- Reyes 3b- hanl.... ummm free agent or Cox Lf- Yelich Cf- RF- Stanton with a rotation of JJ Buehrle Fernandez Turner Eovaldi that is just what we have right now without free agency. we are looking pretty good. We do need that 1 more middle of the lineup power run producer
