He got mad at me after the 2012 All-Star game for actually help him prove his point about the NL's pitching dominance from 2010-2012 in the ASG. He mentioned that the NL pitching has allowed just 1 run over the last two All-Star games [11 and 12], I chimed in with, "they also only allowed 1 in 2010," he responded with "further proving my point," and I added in one extra tweet, "and that run in 2010 was unearned as a result of the pitcher's own throwing error." He tells me to stop and that the point was already made.

 

I was blocked by Frisaro earlier this year, myself. No need, anyways. JCR and Capozzi are much better, more friendly.

I can't remember exactly what it was between Lomo and JCR. I think JCR quoted him but left out something he said to make it sound like Lomo was pissed at someone or something. Lomo called him out on Twitter and I think JCR ended up releasing the full quote.

Frisaro is a dumbass. I don't usually use this phrase but he's a FO apologist. The other day he wrote an article on the main site and he actually comments on his articles. Basically, he told everyone who disagreed with him to go root for another team if they didn't like it.

Who cares whether a game takes 2:35 or 2:45 or 2:55? They must have another survey wherein idiots say baseball is boring. We don't play 4 hour games like Boston/NY.

 

I can see Samson as Captain Queeg after a player or two steps out of the box one too many times or a pitcher picks up a rosin bag too often: "Some misguided players still think they can pull a fast one on me. And what's this nonsense about replay reviews taking only 60 seconds? When you eliminate 3 to 10 minutes of back-and-forth arguing by both managers and conferencing by umpires, it doesn't matter whether a replay review takes one or two minutes, it's all good.

Also, Adeiny is ranked 15th among the 17 qualified SS's in mlb this year defensively. I was actually being too generous with Adeiny. My goodness he is a terrible baseball player

With a few exceptions, I give someone's first year in the majors some slack. Especially those that were so highly advertised and more or less thrust into the situation because of a lack of any real depth at that position. Call it a learning curve if you want. Gotta also remember he had that 3 week (or so) span where he was absolutely atrocious with the bat and glove. Now that I would call the worst in the majors.

 

No doubt he could have used another season in the minors. But going into this year we knew this was a "throw away" season. Guess they just figured it couldn't hurt to throw him in there and let him get acclimated that way. Can't say I agree with that thinking, but we aren't in charge. He's not going anywhere, anytime soon. I think as a fan base we should be hoping he learned from the experience and starts to show the potential he was advertised as having instead of throwing tantrums because he is on the team. 2014 should be the season he either puts up or takes a back seat.
