May 14, 201412 yr According to everyone's favorite Marlins writer Joe Frisaro, the guy coming up today will be a guy with MLB experience, but someone who was not in our system. Interesting. Any ideas? SOURCE: http://joefrisaro.mlblogs.com/
May 14, 201412 yr Author Welcome back Heath Bell! I see a "Like" button...is there a "Hate" button anywhere?
May 14, 201412 yr Author I guess Pavano got tired of doing TV work? I prefer to think that Tommy got sick of everyone's shit and is going to give pitching a shot.
May 14, 201412 yr I see a "Like" button...is there a "Hate" button anywhere? There's a report button. I guess that's close enough. Reason for reporting: Very offensive language.
May 14, 201412 yr Author This team does need a good punch in the balls. Josias Manzanillo, come on down! What, so I can watch him ruin Paul LoDuca's first game as a Marlin in person? Again... The memory is still so clear.
May 14, 201412 yr Mystery reliever! what a fun game! I'm gonna go with Octavio Dotel!!! High K rate. Really high BB rate. Gives up lotsa HR. Fish RP 101.
May 14, 201412 yr Good. Just what I've been looking for. We were missing one good veteran arm in the pen and we had a rotation of about 5 guys in the bullpen mix but none of them are any good at this point.
May 14, 201412 yr Being serious, Kevin Gregg saved 33 games last year and was reportedly still wanting to pitch this year. It's probably him...
May 14, 201412 yr Author Being serious, Kevin Gregg saved 33 games last year and was reportedly still wanting to pitch this year. It's probably him... That's a solid prediction. I'd bet half my money on Gregg, the other half on Wolf. ...I don't have any money.
May 14, 201412 yr Being serious, Kevin Gregg saved 33 games last year and was reportedly still wanting to pitch this year. It's probably him... Yup you're probably right. And considering his 5 or so BB/9 over the last 3 years and propensity to give up dongers it makes a lot of sense
May 14, 201412 yr I just don't see how we send down Jennings and keep both Wolf and DeSclafani? If we have to bring in Wolf, and he's going into the rotation then shouldn't they have kept Jennings, then let DeSclafani make the spot start then immedietaly send him back down and bring in Wolf? I don't see why either Wolf or DeSclafani would be in the bullpen especially when we already have two other long relievers.
