June 11, 201412 yr Author It's too early to panic, but he's off to a slow start. Same concerns we had are there. No power and he needs to walk a lot to have good value. I still like him though.

The #s are pretty close to Jose's age 19 season and Marte was at higher professional levels. Marte has stud potential.

Martes had all of three games above Jose's highest level for his age 19 season. I'd say compare their age 20 seasons after the year is up, but that'd be unfair to Martes, considering Jose's age 20 season was a Rookie of the Year campaign in the Major Leagues. Martes is good, though, by the numbers.
