June 15, 201412 yr #HitsMcGehee in the 8th, #SacFlyMcGehee in the 10th. And AJ Ramos with a fucking magic act to get out of the top of the 10th!
June 15, 201412 yr Author Good starting pitching! Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk I wasn't awake until the 8th started :lol so I didn't see this good starting pitching.
June 15, 201412 yr If we had that the first two games we would have likely swept. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
June 15, 201412 yr Author Who was that that injured themself after the walk off celebration? Someone injured themselves? I hope it was just Furcal from the foul ball [not saying I hope he's injured, but I hope nobody else was].
June 15, 201412 yr Has Hatcher looked good? His line the last few games has looked encouraging Yes, he looked very dominant. He's finally living up to his minor league numbers. He throws a lot of strikes which is good.
June 15, 201412 yr Author Yes, he looked very dominant. He's finally living up to his minor league numbers. He throws a lot of strikes which is good. Exactly - 9 Ks in his last 3 outings [4 innings] including today. I hope he continues this.
June 15, 201412 yr Now if they would just call up Heaney, Dietrich, and Bour, the day would be perfect.
June 15, 201412 yr Author Now if they would just call up Heaney, Dietrich, and Bour, the day would be perfect. But they can't remove the veteran presence of Wolf, the long relief ability of Slowey, the potential of Turner, the underratedness of Hech, the scrappiness of Solano, the Dartmouth-educated Lucas, or the professionalism and experience of Furcal, SO WHO WOULD WE SEND DOWN?!
June 15, 201412 yr Author Wait, is Furcal injured? They're talking about his knee right now. When he fouled a ball off his knee and then singled in the 10th, he limped towards first and Lucas ran for him. So, maybe.
June 15, 201412 yr What a bad weekend thankfully we have momentum going into tomorrow. We need to win a few in a row to set us up for the braves vs. Nationals series next weekend while we get the mets
June 15, 201412 yr wow it would sure be nice if we stopped fucking around and actually was serious about making a playoff run instead of throwing Turner and Wolf out there as well as having Hech in the lineup, Solano on the roster and Dietrich in the minors.
June 15, 201412 yr Hatcher has looked phenomenal in the last couple outings. He's had a few three or four pitch strike outs, just looks fantastic right now. Hopefully Furcal is hurt and Dietrich gets the call soon… lol
June 15, 201412 yr That was very big. Getting swept and falling to .500 would not have been good. Ramos got out of the inning by the skin of his teeth. Martin had him 3-1 and managed to get a double play when he was very wild. As Tommy said, this is the problem with Ramos, last game he was right on and today a disaster. I hope Carter Capps comes back healthy. I also hope Furcal is not hurt. Though I like Dietrich in there every day, Furcal has improved over the last couple of games. Nice work by Alvarez to force himself through 7.
June 15, 201412 yr "Furci" (with a "k" sound) as Redmond is now referring to him is 3 for 16, .188. How exciting. He's not going anywhere, soon. Not even to SS. Too bad, an accurate relay throw (from the SS) would have easily nailed that last PIT run at the plate. Unlke, say, that wildly off-line (by 8 or 10 feet) throw by Hech. I'm not a big WAR-type stats guy, but I can already hear the whir of the WAR calculators revving up. And it ain't good for the Hech.
June 15, 201412 yr Now the dodgers lost. So for the millionth time our momentum is turning. Can it finally stay positive?
June 15, 201412 yr Now the dodgers lost. So for the millionth time our momentum is turning. Can it finally stay positive? We need a few things... Dietrich, Salty, Yelich, Heaney, and Flynn would be a nice start.
