I'll be so pissed if this ends up being another Dontrelle Willis scenario...

 

Where he was better the entire year but Chris Carpenter got the Cy Young anyways? Yeah, I'm with you.

But, is what it is.

 

I think it should go to Stanton regardless cause this is almost another 100 loss season without him. With him and with how he has played all year, we're contending. I hope that's weighed in heavily by the writers.

Yes. For people who do not watch the team everyday and see #RedmondThings happen on a regular basis, the simple fact that we have 38 games left and already equaled last year's win total makes him the front runner for the award. Although he has been making smarter decisions lately such as finally understanding that Platoon isn't just a movie, he still isn't a good game manager. He has no idea how to handle a pitching staff or put a lineup together, but he does get players to perform for him and keeps things well oiled in the clubhouse (from what I see/hear/read)
