December 27, 201411 yr 1997 2003 2015 Everyone thought the trend was every 6 years. Then everyone thought the trend was 6 + n, where n is the number of world series won at the time of the series. What they didn't realize was that it was actually clearly a second order polynomial modeled by the function 3n^2 - 3n + 1997.

January 4, 201511 yr San Diego has improved but the question marks are enormous. As good as their 2015 could be it could just as easily be that bad. But good for Preller in shaking things up and creating some excitement over there because there was absolutely none. Back to the original topic here about the kings of Florida sports. I'm not a basketball fan but I did watch last nights Heat game over some beers with my friends.... aaaand the time is right for the Marlins to officially take control of this city. The season can't get here soon enough
