Casey for peavy

I'd be hesitant unless SF threw in Bumgarner as a secondary piece. He'd slide in nicely for the long relief role.

I'm tempted to say you Photoshopped that...I find it hard to believe that someone would be that dumb. Then again, it's Miami.

That person's probably trolling. I refuse to believe a human can be that dense.

After I looked at the Image and saw the typical troll misspells, I came to that same conclusion lol.

The feeling I felt during the 2012 offseason was something I'll probably never feel again. I really thought it was the beginning of a new era. That went to shit lol. But from a baseball perspective, yes, this is the best. We actually cast a wide net and addressed a bunch of holes (not all, but most). So definitely the most effective offseason.

What holes are left?

Catcher. *shrug*

And to some people, short.

I guess "holes" was the wrong word. But i'm with Bender pretty much. Those spots are a little weak. Plus, other than sizemore, we haven't really addressed our bench which is pretty shitty. But there's still plenty of time to do that so we'll see.

Edit: Not complaining at all, I love the moves so far! I think we can compete for the division if the nats mets and braves are anything but 100% this year. I did say we addressed MOST of our issues. Like 9/10 lol

One thing I'll say compared to 2012... As much as some still obsess over payroll not increasing and how Loria is still pinching pennies with the roster moves, it's that which makes this feel different. If the team underachieves in 2015 I don't feel like Loria is gonna go ahead and hit the reset button because he's not gonna fret over the financial issues.

Because even if you 100% believe the 2012 team was blown up for sucking and not because of their high cost, you still have to acknowledge that the payroll was part of the reason for resetting it. That isn't an issue here.

But it doesn't matter anyways because we're already printing 2015 World Championship t-shirts.
