Glad to see the Dodgers addressed the biggest issue from 2014 in 2015. Maybe they will address it for 2016 and Gabe Kapler when they name him manager.

Just a guess, but him being one of the best players in MLB might just have something to do with it. October 30, 201510 yr Stanton was having a monster season before he got hurt. Shows you how big of a season it was considering it took almost 2 months for Harper to catch up to him. He got hurt and the team didn't want to risk him not coming back at 100% in an already lost season. We have sucked ass for the longest but we as fans still stick around. $325 million or not, I think Stanton is worth every penny and I wouldn't want to lose him as a player. Hopefully this Mattingly hiring sets off a string of much needed moves.
