Ozzie came over on the last day of the 2011 season, before the playoffs even started. If I'm wrong it's probably not more than a day or two after.

If Donnie had failed to lead those teams to the playoffs, it would be a problem. Having to rely on 3 pitchers total year after year isnt really on the manager, tbh. Why Friedman gets no blame for the Dodgers own dumpster fire this year (of wasted money and trash pitchers) is beyond me.

October 30, 201510 yr Honest question what does stanton being happy have to do with anything? If i want someone to remain happy, thats dee gordon. He is the barometer of this team. If he is unhappy, then why the hell should i be? I dont get the stanton love. He barely even played this year and 50% of the time he did play he was slumping. The marlins played better WITHOUT stanton when he got hurt and i attribute that to gordon, at least from when he return from the DL stint, in which he did not miss 3.5 months. Again, not stantons fault he was hurt, but the hell do i care about what makes him happy. He signed the contract, so he should live with it regardless of what happens.
