January 7, 201610 yr Chi Chi, Cha Cha, Cho Cho, who cares about her? The only pics allowed in this forum are pics of Alison Brie. Get on it @SongInTheAir
January 7, 201610 yr this one is more like Chi-Cha Rodriguez This woman is gorgeous. Perfect in every way. Just my opinion.
January 7, 201610 yr Author So I think the question now is... Is Jose, Cosart, Koehler, Gonzalez, Jackson better than Jose, Cosart, Koehler, Conley, Nicolino?
January 7, 201610 yr Author BREAKING NEWS: Chi Chi Gonzalez's real name is Alex Gonzalez. Loria's obsession with 2003 shows its face again. Expect this trade to be made official the moment Loria realizes this.
January 7, 201610 yr MLBNow is about to talk about the Marlins offseason outlook in the next 10 mins.
January 7, 201610 yr Just Frisaro blabbing about the whole Jose situation. And Brian Kenny said Edwin Jackson signing to a rookie minimum was a brilliant sign.

January 7, 201610 yr Yes he doesn't strike people out, but he's by no means bad. 3.9 ERA at 23 years old in the American League (limited time but still), mid 2 ERA across two leagues in 2014, was the 29th ranked prospect in baseball at the start of 2015, and he's from South Florida so some built in marketability. Look at his last start and he went 5 1/3 IP 1 ER. Quality starts back to back to finish. I get that he's a work in progress and his K rates are incredibly low, but he keeps the ball on the ground for the most part and is a consistent pitcher. He's pretty much a prospect version of what we had in Henderson Alvarez. Oh well. If we get him I wouldn't be upset. Not everything is about swings and misses. Nothing about his numbers last year seem to indicate that the ERA # is sustainable. I've seen him pitch too (I'm sure I'm not the only one), and his stuff seems unspectacular. Not sure how he was ever a top prospect. He does get ground balls though and the Pirates/Benedict have had success getting the most from GB pitchers in the past. It's like Benedict is our only hope...

It's like Benedict is our only hope... the problem is benedict doesnt have much to work with. With Lirian there was a ++++ slider already to build around. It's not like he had blank canvuses. Besides Jose, I'm not sure there's another SP in our current rotation with an actual + pitch. Well, I guess Conley's slider probably is
January 7, 201610 yr Author If Ozuna is traded, would someone like Dexter Fowler be a decent fit? I could see the front office strongly considering that possibility. It seems like they have money to spend and if they can't do it with starting pitching I could see them spending a little to replace Ozuna.
January 8, 201610 yr Ozuna for Gio Gonzalez makes sense. Do that and go sign Justin Upton to a one-year deal. Still would need another starter and a guy to put next to Bour, but I'd be pretty happy with an offseason of Gio and Upton.

Marlins should just wait and sign him then fi they really want him.

January 8, 201610 yr danggg didn't know about those options for the Nats. What a great contract for them
January 8, 201610 yr Rosenthal said they are actively trying to trade Gio for a CF. Twitterverse seems to think Brett Gardner for Gio is the trade. You'd have to think Washington would prefer Ozuna to Gardner. Much cheaper and much younger. C - Realmuto 1B - Bour/Corey Hart 2B - Gordon 3B - Dietrich/Prado SS - Hech LF - Upton CF - Yelich RF - Stanton SP - Fernandez SP - Gio (L) SP - Cliff Lee (L) SP - Koehler SP - Cosart That team could do some damage. Obviously this won't happen but its fun to think about until the eventual disappointment of not doing shit.
January 8, 201610 yr Author That would be great except all of Corey Hart's damage would have to be done from the disabled list.
January 8, 201610 yr Corey Hart hasnt had a full season (or even a productive injury plagued season) since 2012. I'd pass.

January 8, 201610 yr Sure. But not in Miami, I mean its a pitchers park that is a great unknown with the fences, wouldnt exactly be a great business decision for him. And it wont be until all options are off the table for a long term deal, which they really arent yet.
