If not, they’re content with Edwin Jackson, Adam Conley and others competing for the No. 5 job. Simon could be interesting. He wasn't good last year, but has pitched well in the NL in the past with Cincy. Also, while a small sample size, he was also significantly better in his 3 starts against NL teams last year with Detroit. Doubt he'd cost much too.

No thanks on 5/110. nah, he was definitely better than Cespedes in 2014. which is why he should be pretty highly valued and could be traded for good SP. 22m is a lot, but they could just trade him for peanuts in a year or two if he does come crashing down. someone would take a chance on him.
