Marlins Offseason Hot Stove Special!

I understand what you mean, if the Marlins were to offer what the Mets are right now then I would say go for it.

3 year deal with an ability to opt out after next year.

Definitely seems like Yo wants to be a Met, but I'd be shocked if he took a discount. Not sure a guy like that is interested in leaving money on the table

What about him says he wants to be a Met? It sounds like he wants to be with wherever the money is and nothing else.

according to MLBTR there are 3 teams in on Gallardo, and the Marlins aren't one of them. that's ridiculous.

He's the only player left that would greatly improve this team. Fister and those other guys aren't the answer. Maybe Lincecum if the report is true that the surgery is going to make him be a good pitcher again.

What the fuck about this post deserves a down vote @LosPeces?

I'm glad we're not going after Gallardo. I think he's a candidate to regress in the near future.

Apparently, we were interested in Rodney before he signed with San Diego.

Rodney, hand, Dunn, Koehler, Ramos, Jackson, cosart. Yup...

Just read that about Rodney. Guess we've learned nothing from Heath Bell, Kevin Gregg, Carlos Marmol, and Henry Rodriguez.

To be fair, Rodney at $2 million wouldn't have been a bad deal assuming they wouldn't have guaranteed him the closer's role.

Speaking of the closer, it looks like Ramos and Capps will battle for the role in Spring Training. I'm hoping Capps wins it.

Go Capps!!!!!!!!!

I want Capps to win it because that means we'd get to see Ramos & Dunn potentially in the same inning more often. I know that's why Vince wants to see it too.

Oh bawhahahahahaha. False. I do not.

You know damn well the FO would have given him 4 to 6 blown saves before taking him out of the role.

Is no one else at least a little curious to see what Jim Benedict does with the talent we have and how he address' the older pitchers that we have brought in so far?

I AM.

I'm curious why you chose an apostrophe instead of typing out the actual word addresses.

I'm weird like that though.
