25-man Roster Announced

I gotta imagine people in the FO are always monitoring who's available and who isn't when it comes to relievers.

That being said were not the worst bullpen in the majors. Go team by team. There's some really shitty ones out there. Mets included.

This is a small victory for me. My culture of winning meter goes up a tic. A so Marlins move would have been to retain him. Offense is good if well...the offense shows up. Bullpen itself looks shaky.

Bullpens are so weird...so who knows.  If any of these guys struggle, then Barraclough, Ege, Ellington, or Wittgren will be up.

errr Familia is a bad ass. Mets bullpen is light years ahead of the marlins and that's more because this is probably the worst pen that marlins have ever had

Vince: "Hmm, so the bullpen is Admin, Mo, Curly, Shemp, the rotting corpse of Saddam Hussein, miamibaseball, Donald Trump, and Justin Bieber? But no brad hand??? Best bullpen ever!!!"

Arguably, yes.

Well for weeks I've said I wasn't very worried about our bullpen but now I'm definitely concerned. This just isn't the bullpen I thought we'd have when spring started. It's a whole pack of average to below average middle relievers and then there's Ramos sitting in the corner as the only guy who can get outs. I have to believe even Mike Hill knows this and there has to be a short leash on the majority of these guys.

Hurry what were the opinions of the release of the 2003 roster?!

On the bright side, innings out of the bullpen shouldn't be a problem. You know, since we have 5 long relievers...

Yeah this. Mike Hill: "Huh? Middle reliever? Setup guys? Late inning relievers? What are those?"

Such a fucking terrible bullpen.

Is Mike Hill even paying attention for potential acquisitions?

He's not the man to sign the paycheck.

why would you expect something to happen that has never happened in their entire careers?

Because they have shown how good they can be and I think it's minor issues to be fixed.

I have very little expectations coming into this season.  The 2nd longest playoff drought coinciding with Loria's reign just makes me numb anymore.  I just won't believe in playoffs until after he sells.  They will be fighting for .500 not October.  This bullpen they put together is fucking shit.  Expect to lose games because this cheapskate and his inept FO either are not qualified to make the right decisions or are unwilling to spend to improve the team.  There will be players worth watching but overall not enough to win games.  This season is just filler to me until NFL returns.... GO JAGS!!!!
