Stanton is always going to have strike outs. It's the kind of player he is. If he's seeing the ball better since the start of the Rockies series let's see if it carries over to tomorrow. Breaking out of the slump doesn't mean he's going to be on a hot streak right away.

@legacyofCangelosiI need you to be online for the game tomorrow for some marlins man bashing.

Good point.

Absolutely. It's a big one tomorrow. In fact the commercials for the Cubs series and he auction show him jumping in front of gormley after the painting sold

Well, you were close. You said road trip, it's been on the homestand following. Whatever, just keep hitting big guy.

I find the annoyance level of the poster D Train to be pretty high.

The feeling has always been mutual.

I knew you would get butt hurt when I gave you negative rep.  I almost didn't do it because I didn't want to stir things up again but your post warranted it.

He should be boo'd relentlessly.

Cubs fans (who made up 75% of the crowd today) were following your orders today.

Now I want his OBP to be that next year.

I remember someone said he swings and misses like he doesn't care. And there is absolute reason to believe he doesn't. He already will get paid his money. So what does he care?

Stanton definitely doesn't care.

20 HR's and a .814 OPS after an extended slump.

It's absolutely nuts that he is still probably going to end up with 35-40 home runs and a .900+ OPS after all of this.

What a monster.

Seriously, he's been mostly terrible yet he still has 20 HR's. Goes to show how talented he is.

If he stays hot for the 2nd half, it'll go a long way to determining whether or not we make the playoffs because he can single-handedly carry an offense when he's on.

He'll be tearing up MLB in July

Just saying

So far in July - 5 HR 10 RBI  Slashing .324 / .395 / .853 with an OPS of 1.248

Just saying

Your own horn. Stop tooting it.

Well, yeah. I get no attention here.

Yeah the 20 homers by now is pretty amazing. He's so talented.

I believe Stanton gets 25 more hits the rest of the season.

Clown

Can we unban Vince on only the Stanton dong thread and tell him he can suck a dick for every hit over the 20 left for the season that retarded aunt Cleo projected?

@Vince0926 was banned?

Have you not noticed how sane it is around here?

lmao definitely a lot quieter. I guess we should have made a thread for those that missed it. What was the tipping point?

@Admin what name did he call you? lol
