7/24 - Mutts at Marlins - 1:10

frustrating.  this team is in a .500 pattern again.  lose 1, win 1, lose 1, win 1

You won 8 of 10 coming into this series. How is that .500? The real issue is their play against contenders.

Ozuna is reverting back to his 2015 form these last few weeks...

He hit a line drive to CF. have you ever played baseball?

The real issue has actually been their play against the Braves. Fuck the Braves.

This actually hasn't been an issue at all. The Marlins have been very good against contenders this season. It has mostly been the lesser teams that have been giving us trouble.

his slash line last 5 weeks is .600ops-ish w ks back up

He has a higher OPS than Bryce Harper the last 30 days. It's a game of slumps and steaks, not progression and regression. You are what your numbers say you are at the end of the year

We also have beaten good teams in other divisions (CHC, STL, PIT, etc.). If the Marlins miss the playoffs, it's going to be due to all of our losses against the Braves and the fact that we couldn't take advantage against teams like the Twins.

This although that's turned a corner lately, the sweep of the Reds a prime example. If we can keep it up at least those games will have evened out a bit.

A reason but not the only reason.
