Prado managing the last game?Ric

Featured Replies

Rich Waltz said a little while ago that Prado would be playing 3B...and managing tomorrow.

Anyone know why?

I heard that on the broadcast and then Rich stopped the story...maybe he wasn't supposed to say anything?  My first thought was maybe they'd announce his extension tomorrow and name him captain.

Just preparing Prado for his post MLB career. He's clearly going to become a minor league manager in 2021.

He would make a good minor league manager in 2021, but he'll managing this team instead.

This is very rare in MLB but I hope so

usually reserved for franchise players been on same team (classic teams) forever...with that said, this sitch could obv could be worthy and i think a great gesture

I'd rather see a pirate patch, but it's the Marlins so he'll get a pumpkin patch

As long as it's not a cabbage patch
