Bret Hart
Pitcher Josh Johnson is retiring from baseball at age 32. Great talent who could never overcome all the injuries. — Jerry Crasnick (@jcrasnick) 2017년 1월 20일 Josh Johnson went a career 58-45 with a 3.40 ERA. For a brief stretch with the #Marlins, he was as dominant as any pitcher in ball. — Jerry Crasnick (@jcrasnick) 2017년 1월 20일 Wish his bright future. He was a decent pitcher, but cannot overcome the injury-prone.
SilverBullet
Damn that sucks. I loved watching him at his peak here. Fell off the mountain way too quickly. Also, other JJ's in Marlins history include Jorge Julio, John Johnstone, and Jacque Jones. Did I miss any others?
Admin
If I were Johnson, I'd be cursing this guy's name everyday for the rest of my life.

CYmarlins
I was at that game One of the few rare moments you went to Citi Field? Cursed. Serious note, coming back from TJ three times is hard enough. Feel bad for guy.
Admin
One of the few rare moments you went to Citi Field? Cursed. That game was in Miami! Now I forget who they were playing but I feel like it actually was against the Mets.
CYmarlins
That game was in Miami! You're right I was confusing that with the game at Citi field that Giancarlo hit an absolute bomb to center and Johnson was pitching that game. But of course that was 5 years later lol. hovertical
sigh, I remember his last good stretch here before he was injured. Those first couple of months that season it was like you just knew he was going to have a no-hitter as it seemed like he was giving up only 1-2 hits in each of his starts and was just eating batters alive. What could have been with both him and Jose in our starting rotation performing up to their expectations. That would have been a legit 1-2 punch to rival any in baseball. Best of luck to you JJ in whatever endeavors you undertake going forward!

Michael
Brought him back out after a long rain delay To be fair, Edwin kinda sorta did the same thing in 2011.
Das Texan
Pitchers like men used to be a much tougher breed. Now like men they are a lot more pussified.

Piazza31
TBH, he's too young. Once he's done playing with is idle hands and and himself, I can see him trying to come back in a year or two.he should have taken the rest break years ago when he got hurt in TOR and not tried to pitch again in SD.
