Unveiling of new logos and uniforms

Featured Replies

God, I wish there was a buyback or a discount for donating the 2012-2018 set. I bought so much of that stuff, I can't bring myself to wear it now with a new logo.

Hell, I got a Stanton jersey in every color, a JJ jersey in grey, one w my name in grey, a HanRam BP and like 20 dri fit nike shirts I used as undershirts for work. Nevermind the caps I got.

What the fuck was I thinking.... lol.

I'm stunned by the dislike of the blue jersey. It's the design but not the color itself right? I'm super curious.

Color is super nice, but it just looks so crazy plain to me! It looks like a BP top

looking at the unis with the players modeling them, they all need piping up front. They all look pretty generic. just match the piping with the sleeves and it'll look tons better.

Fold it up and put them with your Piazza jersey

Here’s some other notable black font jerseys.  I think the Orioles piping is distracting.  Maybe they could have applied the same sleeve stripes to the collar like Pittsburgh and SF.  Honestly our “plain” jersey isn’t far from those two.

Yes this! The Orioles head spoon piping is in the way, clashing with the wordmark. But the Pirates and Giants having that collar piping makes a difference. Marlins should have done that. Even though the details are beautiful from far the Marlins jersey looks all black, the trim isn't bold enough.

The closeups of our wordmark make it a lot better.  I agree with you on the collar but I wonder if the three colors thing didn’t work there.

I'm starting to think removing the black piping, just having it be a double blue and red piping would be better and then you could put it on the collar. I get why they want the wordmarks to be black but they backed themselves into a corner and need to add some pop to the darkness... which is actually weird because there is that pop on the logos and the cap.

And here it all pops... this whole thing is so dependent on the execution and settings...

Totally.  Even better than online shop photos.

Also, like I predicted last night... Brinson and all those players who were on the way to Marlins Park yesterday afternoon are in that video. They filmed all that stuff and took all those photos last night and today they're all doing the community events.

The new primary logo on the right looks good...not a fan of the hat logo on the left (I think because it's just too dark.)

The white jersey looks ok, though if the number on back was blue it'd have more 'pop'.

Black looks like a low budget ripoff of the Mets:

Blue looks like a beer-league softball jersey:

Overall, not really an improvement over this (except for the logo).

Should have just gone back to this gem:
