June 22, 20197 yr but how many more at bats he needs over there ? He doesn’t need at bats, he needs an overhaul of that long ass swing that gets exploited day in and day out. He can’t hit inside pitches without opening up too early which makes him susceptible to the outside break ball. It’s the exact same trouble Cameron Maybin had when he got here (and pretty much his whole career)

June 22, 20197 yr People seem to forget that roster moves are made for specific reasons... Rivera came up because they wanted/needed an extra middle infielder... Lewis Brinson isn't a middle infielder. Yes it's likely time to give Brinson another chance but don't assume that calling up Rivera has anything to do with Brinson coming up or not.

I'd hope that means an adjustment has been made.

By no means am I saying Yadiel is better than Brinson, but I think it’s important to use context in terms of AAA numbers. I wish there was better video of his ABs in NOLA so we could look at more than box scores

I feel like all the scuffing of the ball it gets when it is hit into play would make it easier to throw breaking balls. Isn't that why they take so many balls out of the game all of the time?
