On pace to lose 100+ still?

In my mind, no tanking and just do your best to win every game.

I think they are trying to win every game, they're just not that good yet.

Nah man. If they would just try, they'd go 162-0!

calling up Brinson is the secret to their Loss Sauce.  Marlins just don't win when he's on the roster.

Tanking is a thing but I think it's horribly misleading as if the players and coaches are intentionally losing.

yeah, i don't think the players are intentionally trying to lose or simply don't care.  It's more a product putting automatic outs in the lineup or bench.  I'd rather have them get a higher draft pick though since there's nothing else to play for at this point.  let the guys who are bad continue to be bad so there's less a chance to see them again next season and give the others a chance to continue proving themselves and earning a spot next season.

Nice to see Brinson get a couple hits last night.

This team is not trying to win or trying to lose games.  The games are played everyday and the outcomes aren’t really important.  Prior to the trade deadline it seems to me sitting on my couch that the team was gaining a lot of confidence and putting together lots of great games.  The deadline deals were exciting.  We dealt from our pitching.  But as a result of that and IL players  we’ve been forced to give starts to guys like Robert Dugger. Now it’s really just about giving the right players the right amount of work against the right level of competition.  Next spring training is going to be really exciting. The 25 man roster is going to be really exciting next year after whatever date passes that needs to be passed for service time manipulation

Pretty sure the Marlins are one of the few teams that actually bring their best 25 every year (see Brinson in '18 when it looked like he was going to be a beast after a hot ST, and Straily in '19 when they cut bait -- even moving Chen to the bullpen was a shock, but he had legit lost the ST battle to Richards and Lopez).

That said, you are right. Next year's 25-man crunch is going to be a nail-biter.

Brinson is the only player we cheer and boo at the same time

Get your fuckin shit straight Jordan let's go

Brinson is the only player we cheer and boo at the same time

i cheer or boo based on whether or not he's being sent down or called up

this team is just fucking brutal to watch since the trade deadline ended

BRINSON FUCK YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!

Reallllllly nice to see Brinson get hits.

But it will really nice to see some Slugging too

10th double play in 6 games

10th double play in 6 games

It’s expected when you have a team that doesn’t hit for power at all and has so many high % groundball hitters. If they aren’t hitting into DPs, they striking out in key situations.

So...Isan...fuck you doing mang...

this offense is so bad.  Outside of Degrom, the last 3 starters have been hittable and this offense has a total of 6 runs against them.

Looking like everyone sucking excepting staring pitchjng

Marlins are making look the Mutts like WS contenders
