You live in the Orlando ? I really don't think it's a good idea to put the third team in the FLA after you already have two low attendances teams in this state …

He wants Tampa to move there. It would still be two teams then.

So, basically this, but just Tropicana Field?

But the Rays rather to split the home games between the Tampa with the Montreal than moving the team to the Orlando.

Now they can have a three way........between Orlando, Tampa, and Montreal haha.

This is a moronic statement. I think there are ways to make baseball work in Florida but you can't suddenly claim it will work in Orlando when it hasn't worked in Miami or St Pete yet. There's no advantage that Orlando has over the other two especially over Miami. To me this statement is actually a red flag and would make people doubt baseball in Orlando. The more logical statement would be "Baseball hasn't worked in Miami or St Pete so it's doubtful that it would work in Orlando" not "It hasn't worked in Miami or St Pete but it could definitely work in Orlando!"

Edit: Turns out he's claiming the high volume of tourists will keep attendance up. Another ridiculous comment. Of course tourists who like baseball may stop in for a game or two but there aren't enough who would go consistently enough to draw 3 million fans a season. Fans gotta show up all season long to keep attendance numbers up and that's just not how tourism works.

As much as I would love to have a team closer to me than the Rays, I can't see MLB putting another team in a state where the two other teams combined average attendance would still rank 19th, seriously it would just be smarter to move the Rays to Orlando
