Yep that's right. Nothing says a Boston vs Miami game like a dude from Iowa. Am I even allowed to do this? Ah well, let's go streaking boys!!

    What a hilarious job of managing, to say that Adam Duvall, one of the best defenders in baseball, is the DH because he "needs" a day off. Meanwhile, Garrett Cooper, who has already cost the Marlins two wins with his play in the outfield AND is coming off an injury, starts in the field instead.

    Also, 2 through five in that Boston lineup is nasty!!!  Poteet might be in for a long night.  Or, a short one, depending how you look at it.

    Oh no no no, quite the opposite. This is the "human element" rearing it's ugly head. No way an algorithm ever says "bench your best hitter when all of your other good hitters are also out" or "have your best fielder DH when the worst fielder then has to play in one of the hardest outfields in baseball"

    Verdugo played well against us last time didn't he?  Was he the Marlins killer last time we faced the Sox?  Seemed like it anyway but maybe it was just a big hit or something I'm thinking of.

    So Duvall wouldn't be available today, Leon is the DH and I'm not sure if Jazz is available.

    Sure would be nice if they didn't pinch pennies and had called up Jesus Sanchez to be in the OF while Coop DH'd today.

    Sandy Leon as DH is HILARIOUS and I guarantee you no other manager in baseball makes that move.
