Safeco Field was completed in two years and four months.And Safeco is larger than the Marlins Park.2011 opening is a potential. for it to be ready opening day in 2011 the stadium would need to be done in 1 yr & 8 months ..... a full 10 months faster (about 70% of the total time) for reference, the new spring training facility for the white sox/dodgers (Camelback Ranch) out here in Glendale was done with a very aggressive time table and is a smaller project than the Marlins Ballpark and that took a year and 3 months with workers going right down to the deadline working almost around the clock absolutely not going to happen

rab - if you have a chance to check out LaJoies live show, do it I went a couple months ago and it was super funny ... a mix of standup and his songs

this program is really funny and it goes well beyond fantasy football .... that's just kind of the glue that brings all these characters together

a couple photos from this past saturday - a little disapointing to not see stanton or any of the pitchers overall a pretty average performance by most of the prospets ... nothing like watching hanson pitch last year here is a photo of burns at the plate, peterson and burns coming off the field after communicating on a fly ball, they were slapping gloves and joking and one of me messing around with the flags above the batters eye (trying to figure out this whole new camera thing) been super busy, but if you are interested I could post more when I get time i think I have crappy video of burns stolen base as well - they were letting them run out there, that's for sure

agree with the comment of miss state vs ol miss .... i think miss state will play them close, but florida will just have too much and will pull away as the game goes on clemson is coming off a big win and it's a team miami hasn't played in a while - they should be up for this one it works in the canes advantage to play this at home, but clemson is one of those up and down teams miami needs to come out sharp and with the focus they prepared with during the first 4 this season and realize this is a big step up from famu and ucf i think they win it by 6-10

not a chance of this being completed a full year early aside from the completely unreasonable amount of coordination and everything else that it would take you need to look at the current construction economy - it's pretty much crap - so if companies can schedule and count on a job in 2011 they're going to do it you have many contractors bidding jobs at cost just to keep crews running - they're in no rush to get out there and find the next job, because the next job isn't really there and it's not super profitable so if you can keep moving and stay busy now you do it and if that takes you to 2012 then even better - it's just one more year for things to improve

Price would be great, but if anyone give BoMel a job then that is where price will coach hopefully that doesn't happen and beinfest can use his relationship to drag him to florida

A team from Mesa is playing teams games in the cities of Mesa, Phoenix, Peoria, Scottsdale and Surprise in a league called the Arizona Fall League I thought the facility in Jupiter was really nice, but don't expect to see any one off games and cross country travel to play there

who has spent a significant amount of time in philly and not had nights like this? - the place pretty much demands hard drinking.......... at least he had a driver, which is a plus - although he may want to work on that memory thing, as one comment stated on the blog it's a good way to end up with a civil suit my roomate had a convertable and we would drive around yelling at people while drunk (that or serenading the old ladies getting out of the theater.......) remember driving back to campus one night when a stumbling drunk guy asked for a ride - we told him to jump in, which he did drove back to a UPenn bar all the while he had his butt on the back seat, but his legs handing out of the car - he was yelling at people on the street, which was fitting in we dropped him at the Penn bar and then we started yelling at penn students - right when it reached angry mob status we just drove off to be young and dumb..............

i don't know which type of park is easier to build a team in, but I do believe that there should be a blend you need to have HRs, the ability to change the game with one swing, the excitement that comes from an outburst and the drama knowing that the other team has a legitamite shot at being able to swing it back however, I personally enjoy watching great defensive plays, outfielders tracking balls, the various alignments and how they can change based on the park dynamics .... to me that is very entertaining also, HR fests can lead to lopsided, long lasting games my perfect park would have fair power alleys, maybe even with one side being fairly easy to reach, with a blend of wide open spaces and gaps that the defense would have to cover i may be different, but I like seeing the drama of a ball being just near the wall and a charging defender trying to rob the HR, or having to play the ball off the wall as the runner tests his recognition, speed and outfielders arm i find all of these more interesting than a ball that is hit well, but not crushed, landing 10 rows deep without any question if it would clear

tough situation for sure schedule an appointment to discuss this - if you have HR ask for them to be present at that time detail the reasonable accomodations and reinforce that you do not want to create any management issues for the school. Ask them to detail the reasons why your request is unreasonable and cannot be accomodated. If they can't detail the reasons ask why they are unwilling to work with you to reach a reasonable solution and ask again how 6 days is a hardship, but 5 days is fine and how you can help diminish this hardship. If they still stall state something like "without any details of how this is unreasonable and the unwillingness to work on anything other than a hardline solution it puts the thought in my mind that this is angled against me and it's could potentially be unfair and discriminatory" - the HR person would probably have their attention piqued i've been in both positions - taking extended time off at inconvenient time and having to approve vacations - especially difficult around holidays ......... probably the biggest one I had to do was a 3 week approval for an european vacation - worked it out with the employee that they had to have a 100% clean desk or else I would never approve a vacation longer than 2 days again most people are reasonable, just appeal to that side - he probably doesn't want to set a precident or is concerned about being short staffed around the holiday as other vacations are sure to roll in

Is this policy laid out in your contract? Find this out before anyting. I would also try to get something in writting Send an e-mail detailing the reason why, the accomodations you are willing to make as far as advance lesson planning, assisting with a 6 day sub, etc. State that "I know you felt 6 days was just too many, however I've earned time off and should be allowed to take it within reason. I am trying to help ease any potential pain to the school, my students and my coworkers by staing well ahead of this. I know it can put you in a tough spot, but this is something that I must attend" If there is no stated school policy that restricts you in this manner than hold them to the fire on that. If there is such a restriction, then the next time you see how much you are paying in union dues, just smile a little about how they are looking out for you so well you ended up with pretty harsh restrictions in a state where the litigious nature of labor law is most severe and subsequently the easiest state in the nation to get accomodations.

focus on you - when you are young it's a good time to be selfish and set yourself up - take care of you and the rest will follow don't waste time on girls like this - she's shown what she's about and there are hundreds of thousands of better options out there just waiting to be discovered how you move on is up to you, but i'd slam the door shut firmly either way i agree a bit on the above - i'd start to play here - get more photos and lead her to give you some quotes on others - save it up - make a nice collage and then let the world see her for what she is chances are she has a rival or two who you would gain instant credibility with
