  1. I would welcome Mark redman with open arms, the guy did great in a pitcher's park for the Marlins in 2003, although he was lit up in the playoffs, I had confidence having him out there every outing during the 2003 regular season. The guy is a gamer with great stuff, not a power pitcher, but knew how to handle any given situation, and has never been known to give up much runs despite the defense behind him in recent years besides the 2003 Marlins ofcourse, their main attribute was on the field. We need to bring big red back, it's a win win situation, afterall, what would the Pirates want for him?
  2. I am also a supporter in keeping Mike Lowell, but I think the principle of this trade in which we receive Admin Bigbie is to let Mike Lowell go and move a younger MIguel Cabrera to third base, opening a spot for Bigbie, and allowing us free room to re-sign Juan Encarnacion. I love Mike Lowell, Obviously take a look at my icon, and I would want the Marlins to keep him, although I think as a fan fav he was resigned, but FO didn't see it as a need, and believe now is a perfect time to let him go. BUt if we do deal him cause it's a must go, do we go ahead and take Sidney Ponson from the O's or keep the trade as is, and pay most of the deal left in lowell's 21 million dollar contract? I say we take Ponson, he is a promising starter, which I think would do ok in the NL, any thoughts on this?
  3. Should we pay Mike Lowell's contract or like most articles say, receive Sidney Ponson from the Orioles in exchange for Lowell, as part of the AJ Burnett trade.....guys?

  6. more positive energy is needed!!!!
  7. That's not good, the Marlins better have some explaining, this is apparently affecting the whole team and it's little bit of chemistry, how about we forget the whole trading AJ thing, and focus on bringing in a great pitcher for our bullpen , and possibly a starter such as oakland's Barry Zito, then see which one we can resign, AJ or Barry, either way, I'd still be way more happy than if we got that crap from orioles, or atleast if we re-sign zito, the trade with O's would be less that bad.
