Is their a way to get all access for free on MLB Insider? Does that guy that use to translate all rumors within it to his own web page still do it? Any info on how I could get the information without subscribing? I am thinking I might have to, but don't want to.

better yet why don't all baseball players go back to getting paid less then doctors, and they can get regular jobs after games, that way all 30 big leagues teams can get new stadiums, and donate the old ones to the minor league teams!

The Miami Herald has reported that the Pittsburgh Pirates are now interested in Yorman Bazardo for Mark Redman, although it may not come true unless the Marlins deal AJ Burnett, who I don't expect to be traded away.

My brother in law went to a tryout in Charlotte North Carolina for the Chicago Whitesox Tripla-A minor league team, and was selected into a final fifteen out of 200 ball players that tried out. 2 out of the fifteen signed today, but the other thirteen (my brother in law Guoaroa "JOSE" Victoria among one of them) went home empty handed with word that they would be contacted in fifteen days to see if they were selected or not. I need to know who these two guys were, and if anyone knows how good they were, since I know my brother in laws ability, and seem to think he had the better shot at it. I hold my own word, I WOULD give up Hermida for bay, I WOULD give up olsen or hermida for redman, and I'd definately trade both for Odalis Perez. Jeremy Hermida is thought to be a five-tool or five star prospect, BUT he isn't even proven, c'on now, you can't compare this guy to a Jason Bay, most of you talk like this guy is a miguel cabrera, that IS RARE GUYS, Jason Bay is already hitting major league pitching, and I don't know why u guys hate big red, he is a work horse, eats up major innings, under a contending teams, he allows the lowest runs, the guy was a big success in 2003, everytime I saw him or D-Train pitch, I remember us winning the game. I have been a fan for teh longest, even before 2003 and 1997, and if 2003 showed the REAL big red, I WANT HIM BACK, no questions asked, the guy is fantastic. With the kinda bullpen we have, we need a guy that can go long through a game. I bet you we get big red, we will make the playoffs.........i'll put my money where my mouth is. I love this guy. No need to bash, I am entitled to my opinion, plus I am a Marlins fan since 93' so I am untouchable! Hermida can go! I'd rather spend the money on Encarnacion, or another free agent.

Don't get me wrong I love Ken Griffey Jr. since his days with theSeattle team that was well stacked with AROD, Jay Buhner, and Edgar Martinez, but let's face it, Ken Griffey is made right now for either a move to lf or rf, or even a move to DH in the American League where he can continue to add on to his HR totals, he is at a stage where he should be setting records instead of helping a team like the fish get somewhere, he is a stats player at this point, please view reds and their place in the standings, one guy can't carry a whole load, we need bullpen and a starter, without losing burnett or anybody else, that's all we should spend SOME piece of our farm system on. PlUS where does this money all of a sudden come from? And where do we put Pierre?
