  1. Lefty or no lefty I say we should always go with the best possible option, especially during drafts, which is what the past regime did, go with what was the best available, and it produced us some great things.

This guy was mentioned in Jose Canseco's book, "juiced", as a big steroid juicer, so nooo, absolutely not, B2 shots are being checked for, no chance he gets signed by anybody.

    any predictions?
  4. I would welcome that Gibbons trade, it's brilliant! But am also high on Bronsen Arroyo.
  5. yeah, as expected, our defense gets horrendously weaker.
  6. I say we either re-sign encarnacion, or trade him for a piece that can help us in 2006.
  7. Looking for relief: The Marlins continue to search for relief help, and Kansas City left-hander Jeremy Affeldt is a possibility. Affeldt, 26, has been on the disabled list since June 19 with a groin injury. He was the Royals' closer for part of last season and early this season. Affeldt, scheduled to return Friday, has no decisions and a 2.79 ERA in 9 2/3 innings. He had 13 saves and a 4.50 ERA in 30 relief appearances last season. He is making $950,000 this season. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/conte...notes_0707.html DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS IS WORTH HAPPENING???
  8. NICE SHOTS, what camera is that?
  9. LMAO, you guys are too much, I've thought of that before, I've also thought of the music disturbing the approach to the plate, but anyway, these are just theories, this team is obviously better on paper, and probably is under-performing.
  10. The Yankees would never do such a thing, especially such a player of AROD's caliber, now if they were to eat most of his salary I'd welcome a trade, but sense it makes no sense in baseball or a business stand point then why would they do such a thing? But anyways, I think we are better off without trading for major pieces. I'd welcome a trade for a starter, not a trade trading away one of our starters of AJ's caliber. No way would we make it very far without him!
  11. NICE PICS, WHOSE THE CHICK IN THE JEANS AND BLUE ;-)? HEHE
  12. BOOG, ALTHOUGH HE TENDS TO OUT TALK YOU OR ELSE HE'D HANG UP ON YOU, LOL
  13. a change is a must.......I don't know where to start, but we need, to add something to give our batters cifedence, maybe a couple of starters?
  14. When I think about you I TOUCH myself, lol, male stalker on the boards.
  15. HOW ABOUT MOVING LOWELL TO THE TWO SPOT?
  16. See guys I told you Quatrill would be released, and you guys wanted to exchange Juan Encarnacion for him, see what patience does? Now we get to have him for the minimum! I would also welcome Mike Stanton.
  17. Sheff can be that bat we are missing, but stil I wouldn't trade AJ for him.
  18. WE will turn this thing around.
  19. NO, we shouldn't make this deal, we should wait it out, we can get more value for Encarnacion, I won't just settle for a washed up player the Yankees might eventually release, be patient, wait it out, pull the trigger on the most attractive option.
  20. I don't know, he is a bit shaky as a starter except for one good season, but as a reliever he may be reliable, and he CAN make the occasional start, but I don't want him as a setup man, and especially not as the closer, maybe as a middle reliever, and emergency starter, mota will be setup man, we need a REAL closer!!
