I may buy into the insane crap if after lets say she killed the first child and then she stops because she realizes what she did was wrong and doesn't understand what got into her head so she stops the additional killings. Maybe I would believe her but you would think after the first child she killed that you would just stop. To me it was pre-meditated. She filled up the bath tub, she gets each child one by one and drowns them. That to me is murder.

Wow to be 18 again!! If you are looking for a job thats not boring I agree with what accord said see a local recruiter. If you could get into the Coast Guard I here thats a lot of excitement (I was in the Navy) and you have a very good chance of possibly being stationed near your home. Lots of action if you are in one of the fields with law enforcement or search and rescue. You can do that at a very young age and get paid for it. Just an idea I'm sure others here may have other options.

Wait, let me get this straight, because one parent felt enough outrage about a book about kids in Cuba that had no political discussion whatsoever was offended and feared that his daughter might read the book, the whole series of books get yanked off the shelves of every public school library in Dade County. You think that's perfectly ok? How about this, the parent takes a little responsibilty (yes, I know that's asking a lot in this day and age) and tells their kid they don't want them reading that book. The kid listens if she respects her parents and that's that. It's silly that outraged parents are getting up in arms over this book. That is an opinion. The facts are: a book offended a parent. He brought it to the attention of the school board and other parents. Those parents agreed with the first parent and the school board did as well. Consequently, no matter how "silly" you may think it is, the book was deemed unacceptable. The issue is: Does a public school board have the authority to remove a book from library shelves? Because if they do not, then public schools can have subscriptions to Hustler and the school board has no say in the matter. If a line can be drawn between what is permitted and what is not, then the school board has the authority to draw that line within their own jurisdiction. Exactly, people seem to be missing the real issue Yeah, I asked the same question earlier and no one has answered it logically on this post. The schoolboard often does not allow several books into it's curriculum. Is that unconstitutional? Where is all the media atttention on those books? I believe the people who are making this a really big deal is the ACLU. That is my opinion. They are always interfering.

This past weekend I was watching the sleuth channel and it was fun watching the Miami Vice marathon. It brought back some great memories when I was in the service and we finally got a chance to watch the series after someone would tape it for us so we could see what was going on with the show. My favorite one was when Crockett lost his memory and he played a bad guy. The one with Ted Nugent was a great one. I also enjoyed the very last show where Crockett and Tubbs defied the Feds by destroying a sea plane carrying some dictator who was heading back to his country after Crockett and Tubbs had fought hard to get him in the states.

Yenta....I was making a comparison. Is it unconstitutional when a school board decides not to accept a book in its curriculum? Any book? That is the point I was getting at. There are many books out their that the school board has not allowed into its curriculum however you do not hear it in the news. Once again I didn't say this book was offensive please read and do not judge me or say who is skewing this. Yeah it may be two parents turining this up but also lets look at the other side of this argument...who else is being a media whore? The ACLU and they are sure getting great attention in all of this.

Books that are offensive (porn,foul language, etc.) are usually banned from schools is that unconstitutional? I'm not saying that this book is offensive...all I am trying to say is that there are books that are banned from schools quite often by the school board and if thats their decision ..accept it. I defenitely would not want my childrens schools policy or conduct being dictated by the ACLU or other special interests group that have their own agenda.

I wouldn't compare Bad Boys to this upcoming Miami Vice movie. From the looks of the trailer it appears to be a serious cop drama instead of a comedy that Bad Boys was. About the reviews being on the negative it is mostly due to how long this production took to complete this film.

Miami doesn't deserve to be represented by the Marlins. The only city this team should represent is Hialeah. But we will never see the Hialeah Marlins because of marketing purposes. Agreed. The state of Florida doesn't deserve it either. I second the South Florida Marlins, but as with the Hialeah Marlins, that won't happen for marketing purposes. They'll either stay with "Florida" or change to "Miami", neither deserve it though. Yeah but Miami Dade is a main contributor to the stadium therefore I have no problem if its called Miami Marlins. Yeah the northern part of Florida has no f_cking clue.

I don't think it's necessary at all that he says anything abut the gap. Why not just focus on the issue at hand and be thankful for the 60 million from the State? Because he is Samson -- he doesn't know how to be anything other than what he is. Sounds to me like he doesnt want to stay in Fl. Or at least he doesnt want to go with the only viable option on the table right now (Hialeah). JDC is starting to sound like a lone voice in the wilderness on this deal. Sounds to me like you don't have a freakin clue what you are talking about. Do not be upset that the Marlins are not going to set up shop in SA. Get over it already. Move on.

I wish the mainstream media would really do some journalism work on the stadium issue. It has always been negative whenever they report the stadium front.

I do not know how to word this.. but do you guys think that the City of Miami might steal the idea that Hialeah/Julio Robaino came up with in creating a tax district in a business/industrial park to finance the stadium? Just a theory.

I was born and raised in Hialeah and rememeber the stories of Mayor Dale Bennet, Henry Milander, but with Raul Martinez he was never convicted of Bribery.

This show is hanging by a thread. I'll be suprised if it returns for another season. same here

I like the one where there is a car that has a wing spoiler on it and the German/european females in the back ground are saying look this car has wings it can fly. Then the car gets slammed by a catapult since it didn't fly. Then the German guy says volkswagen in the house with hand signs showing VW. I just crack up. You have to see it.
