Wow guys, we're slacking...I had to start a GT 1 hour before the game! The Marlins were foiled in their attempt to accomplish something they hadn't done yet this year ?-- win three series in a row. After taking two of three from the Giants at Dolphin Stadium last week, then beginning this current three-city western road trip with a sweep at Colorado, Florida will look to salvage its three-game series in San Francisco on Wednesday after dropping the first two games. Dontrelle Willis will try to turn things around in the finale, and although he's pitched well in his last four starts, history is not on his side. In three career starts six miles across San Francisco Bay from his hometown of Alameda, Calif., Willis has lasted a total of nine innings, going 0-2 with a 17.00 ERA. Pitching matchup FLA: LHP Dontrelle Willis (2-6, 4.72 ERA) After posting a season-high 6.22 ERA, Willis has lowered it considerably in his last four starts. SF: RHP Jamey Wright (5-4, 4.20 ERA) Wright is pitching on three days' rest after tossing eight innings of five-hit ball on Saturday at Shea Stadium. Player to watch Josh Willingham has homered in two straight games and now shares the team lead with Miguel Cabrera with nine roundtrippers. On the Internet MLB.TV Gameday Audio ? Gameday ? 2 wins in a row...2 days of me working and not being able to see the game (till midninght Friday, 11 Saturday) cooincidence? maybe! I work today 3-10 we'll see what happens! GO FISH

June 13, 15, and 18 are the only 3 Heat home games of the Finals. (June 18 does not interfere timewise with Marlins becasue its a Sunday)...how will those games effect attendence numbers for the Marlins? I'm assuming that there will be the lowest crowds of the year at least for those days. How did other teams attendence do when the Marlins played playoff games for a comparison? I'm going to the Marlins game on the 13th becasue its my birthday...dad's not too happy!

or they may not air it since they hate UGA and FSU...keep those fingers crossed!

oh it was great..on wednesday when he moved to right, the entire front 5 rows of my section 127 were cubs fans...i dont remember what was said, but the marlins fans booed the cubs fans in the section and then borchard turned around and said something back to them and we all cheered.

IMO I give Borchard a lot of respect. Not only for talking back to those Cubs fans last week when they heckeled him, but also because he has power and uses it. He is MLB ready IMO and would be a great pinch hitter on most clubs. You can count on him for that clutch hit

looks like German replaced Pinto Bean?

hammer time please! damn

8017 the crowd

go FISH! I'll be watching tonight! SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP

Don't bring a broom...get the end part at Wal-Mart (not the handle) and bring that everyone saw that I had it at the cubs series and nobody stopped me.

when Shawn Greene was traded to (or from) Tornoto (i forget which) he chose the city because of its Jewish Community. He has said that he would never play in a city that has a small Jewish Community.

Gammons said he expects it to be a bidding war b/w these 3 teams. bidding for what. Loria will not trade Dontrelle unless he really wants to see this team lose. So I take that back, he might trade Dontrelle

Also todays attendace was up alittle. Att: 10,189. Nothing great but its better than the 7k we had last night. yea its better...but you have to remember that last night was a Heat playoff game and Memorial Day! I think slowly fans are starting to get hooked on this team. They are figuring out they are so much fun to watch. now lets not go that far...the att probably represents the total tickets sold which may or may not include those 10 packs and some people baught tickets just to see Bonds. The people who go are hooked...and the bandwagon will arrive soon enough. I'm just worried that in a tough NL East that what we're doing now is too little too late, but wouldn't that be a kick in the face of Loria if we finish .500! just to add...with schools out, attendence should improve slightly

well, I guess I wasn't magic with the GT! go fish...i won't be watching, I can't stand BB

Harold was good to go though, he said "Uggla plays Pretty baseball" Harold :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy btw, how was the crowds reaction when barry came up to bat?

seems like (with the exception of Hanley, Hammer, Treanor, and Helms) all of the songs have changed. I don't know any of the names though.

60%...never did well on tests!

sloppiest defensive inning in a while...lets get them on offense and come back in the 2nd with our heads (and gloves) in working order!

Hermida in center...interesting especially with the hip flexor.
