Greg Dobbs: Marlins’ Catalyst and MVP Through the First 50 Games
Yeah, so not the MVP but he's been alright in limited time on offense. It's worth noting he's started as many games as Lomo has.

Should there be a rule change about running into the catcher?
Collisions at the plate are just plain f***ing exciting, case closed. Not case closed because the case isn't stupid. There was nothing exciting about this:

Omar Rodriguez or Mars Volta anyone?
ohh, Frances the mute is one of the best album I own. :smlove Yeah, that was great much rather listen to At the drive-in than both the Mars Volta or Omar combined, both bands are a little too experimental for me. another band that spawned from At the drive-in ... Sparta. Anyone into them? I really did like their first album, after that I really didnt care. I was never a fan of Sparta.

Greg Dobbs: Marlins’ Catalyst and MVP Through the First 50 Games
Well, the idea of "MVP" is subjective. I actually agree with floridafly's belief that Dobbs so far has been our MVP. My opinion is that at the beginning of the season, 3rd base was our biggest weakness. It was set to be the black hole in the lineup. Dobbs has come in and turned a weakness into a strength so far. He's provided a real bat in the lineup and hasn't been too big of a liability in the field. When I think of players who have provided the most "value" to this team, who has given us the biggest bang for our buck, that without a doubt is Greg Dobbs through the first 50 games. Also, now that my semi hectic two weeks is up, I'm gonna try to add a few more articles before going up to college. Greg Dobbs ($600,000) is making more than Gaby Sanchez ($431,000) this year. Even if that's the thinking for this, it's still wrong. Gaby Sanchez has been this team's most valuable player, thus far. There's no question, really. He's exceeded expectations (our own manager even called him the biggest surprise on the team), he's been the most productive, and he's the only one who's played every single inning. I don't really see how this is a debate, to be honest. Plus, he's from here! But yeah, this is totally the right answer. And to say Dobbs is more valuable because he's somewhat filled a hole at 3B is kinda silly, since we'd have a hole somewhere if it wasn't for Gaby (probably LF, since Morrison would shift over).

Gaby has been our MVP, if anything. Dobbs has been cool though. Or Morrison. The only reason I didn't pick him was because he missed 20 games.

Anibal Sanchez
2 years ago is key. He needs to repeat or come close to that production in order to be taken seriously. Lets not forget Jeremy Hermida. He's been pretty good for a while. He's has a 3.60 ERA career wise and has had a 3.21 ERA since he came back from his injury in 2009. His only bad seasons were the two injury shortened seasons of '07 and '08.

EVO 4G
Battery life and size are the knocks, but if has USB charging, of course, which helps. I love the phone, and I'm getting pretty dang good at the touch screen. Battery life is a negative but size is preference. Phones are getting bigger. Agreed, actually. But I'm a pretty big guy, and I'm not really affected by the extra bulk, which I'll happily trade for more viewing on that gorgeous screen. I also have an OtterBox because I'm a klutz, and even then it's not too much for me. i have a big phone too. Every time I use an iphone now I feel like its tiny. Arent there rumors of the next iphone having a 4 inch screen? Seriously, the iPhone feels like a toy in my hand. Fisher Price's "My First Smartphone" or something. It has such a cutesy UI too!

I want to fight minervini. why? what did he say? I was on mlb tv so had to listen to the home commentator. Nothing he just pisses me off. Does anyone agree he's a phoney? When the camera is not on him and he doesnt know it,he seems to look pissed off, anyone notice that? I should say when the camera is on him, and he doesnt know it. He's like this in person too.

Some exterior pics of the stadium
UFO? Airplane. The camera has a long shutterspeed (which is why you see lines of light instead of cars). It's just Mike Stanton's friends checking in to see the ballpark progress. COS HE AINT HUMAN! Come on, Stanton's not an alien. He's a robot.

Really?
What scandal issues did Obama and Bush have? Obama is a Kenyan who pals around with terrorists.

Stanton Eager To Showcase Power In Home State
Yeah the 1996 Gary Sheffield season was amazing, Stanton will never be able to sniff a ops of over 1.000 with his current strike out problems, and the best hitting talent the Marlins produced is none other than Miguel Cabrera, i'll take a 330 average and 30hr over 260 and 45 any day, anyway that's not even a fair, it's basically like comparing a prime Admin Walker to Preston Wilson. So Mike Stanton is Preston Wilson? You're a very boring troll. Don't tell me you think he is Admin Walker I hope not. Outside Coors Field, Admin Walker is Jay Buhner. And the new park is a far cry from Coors.

Your League Leader in Saves...
I couldn't actually watch the game but I followed it on and off on gameday. Did Mujica really not have his stuff today which it why they took him out and didn't let him try and get out the jam? Yeah, he didn't have it. I swear, he only pitches well when I can't watch.

American commentators on Football(Soccer)
I do love FIFA and the commentary, but when you're losing you always take it out on Andy Gray and not Martin Tyler. Gary Neville is taking his place i believe, that will be interesting. Can he get more biased than Ray Wilkins? That should be terrible. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but he's never done any kind of commentary, right?

Buente DFA, Cishek recalled
I can confirm this: http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/rays/content/rays-claim-buente-designate-delaney-assignment?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter That's pretty funny. The beat a pitcher so hard he ended up on their roster.

Dave Dombrowski needs to get his team a bullpen
their most effective relief pitcher is named Al Albuquerque. that's definitely on my short list for 'best baseball names ever' It's actually Al Alburquerque, with the extra 'r' for extra confusion. I'm sad to find out that he's never pitched in the PCL, so he's never played in Albuquerque. Also, sadly, there is no Albuquerque in Alabama.

5/24 Post Game
Wait - how did Leo get a save? If the tying run is on-deck, it's a save opportunity. Right but he entered with an out already registered... I thought he had to record all 3 outs in said situation? A save is credited to a pitcher who fulfills the following three conditions: 1. The pitcher is the last pitcher in a game won by his team; 2. The pitcher is not the winning pitcher; 3. The pitcher fulfills at least one of the following three conditions: a. He comes into the game with a lead of no more than three runs, and pitches at least one full inning. b. He comes into the game with the potential tying run being either on base, at bat, or on deck. c. He pitches effectively for at least 3 innings after entering the game with a lead. That second one is what gets Leo the save. You can record the save with a 1-pitch flyout if the situation is right. Hell, there can be a zero pitch save recorded (runner picked off).
