Ohh I remember it like it was yesterday!! I was at Fantasy Fest in Key West, watching at Caroline's on Duval. I went down there with a bunch of friends, many Yankee fans from NY (HAHA). After the last out was made, everyone on the streets went CRAZY, and just celebrated the rest of the night. So much fun! In 1997 I watched the game at home with my Dad.

I said Cantu (although it was a tough between him and Nolasco) just because he was so consistant, and was SO clutch for us, even though he seemingly came out of nowhere.

The Mutt fans that saw our telecast need to move their sorry asses back to NY and stop complaining. They are OUR announcers and are supposed to be homers. Now if we can get rid of Minervini the Mutt fan we'd be set. W-O-R-D. Rich & Tommy = Love.

Can't wait! Countdown to April 6th is ON.

That post about "what have the Marlins done in the last 5 years" is absolutely LAUGHABLE. I think about 90% of Mets fans are former short-bus riders. There is another board I visit that had a few Mets fans bitching today. One tried to give a backhanded compliment to us saying "If only the Marlins put as much effort into their whole season as they did against us this weekend they might actually be a team to reckon with." All I could think was, uhhh ok stupid, we put quite a bit of effort into this season which is why we ended with a record above .500 rather than 100+ losses which EVERYONE predicted. And we obviously ARE a team to reckon with, which is why we spent 50-something days in 1st place inspite of having absolutely no starting pitching in the first 1/2 of the season.

I went! Unfortunate loss, that last 2 run homer I think is what killed us, I feel like we would have come back if we were still down 3-2, it was a great crowd though and everyone was really into it. what section we u in...you look just like someone who was in front of me lol wow lmao i was in Section 153 if anyone would like to know Oh and i started the CODY chants today what? lol there was someone that looked just like her sitting in front of me...i just realized it lol. i was in sect 140 pinto was throwing baseballs like crazy. and we still g2 trade cowbell for bily build a bear little man lol, I dunno what was funny about you asking me that either. I was in a few different areas, mostly in 450 for the first 1/2 of the game and in 145/146 for the last 1/2, so it wasn't me.

What does it even matter? You think you are 100% right, and that no one else is allowed to have an opinion. I could tell you I sat down and had 7 two-hour dinners with him and you would still be freaking out saying "ZOMG BUT U DON'T KNOW HIMM!!!!!!11111". I am really not interested in trying to justify my view on a person to someone over the internet who already thinks I'm wrong no matter what I say. Sorry Erick, but I find it hard to believe that you don't form an opinion on someone you meet after having 3-4 different encounters with them. Is it possible that if Kevin Gregg and I were to become the best of friends and hang out 24/7 that I may change my mind and realize he's a wonderful person? Sure. But as of right now, nothing of him I have ever seen made me view him as anything but an asshole, and that is where my opinion stands. If you disagree and want to canonize him, be my guest. 1. I never "canonized" him. 2. 3-4 encounters in which you didn't quite hit it off with a person doesn't make the guy an "asshole." How long were these encounters, anyways? Face it...the only reason why you call him an "asshole" is because he's blown 9 saves. As is the life of a professional athlete...do well, and you're one of the good guys. Do badly...you're an asshole / cancer / . LMFAO I like how you are going to tell me why I think he's an asshole. The troubles he's had on the field definitely add to why I don't like him, but they aren't the sole reason, so don't presume to tell me what my reasons are for liking/disliking someone, kthxbye. :thumbup MIKE JACOBS JUST MADE AN ERROR IN THE 1ST INNING. You don't KNOW the guy. 2. Gregg didn't even offend anyone on the team. He actually ended up complimenting Lindstrom, in the end. More like McCain/Embarassment to Females Everywhere '08! rhetoric like this really make me wonder if it is even possible for the USA to come together politically on anything It's not rhetoric, it's just how I feel. I've waited my entire life for a woman to be in a position like this, and now that it has happened I just wish it would go away. She is a horrible example of what a woman should be, and she is on a world-wide stage for all to see. It breaks my heart because she is a giant running leap back from where others before her worked so hard to get. :confused

You must be looking at some of those "fair and balanced Fox News" polls, because it's been all over the news that in polls women seem to think she isn't qualified for the job way more than men do. I know quite a few staunch Republican women who are seriously reconsidering their vote since she was added to the ticket. The female voters shifting to her right now are only seeing the FEMALE part of this whole equation. Once they actually take the time to learn anything about her, and how horrible her policies are and how anti-female she really is, they will run the other way.

I want us to end the season respectably, over .500 (which is a huge accomplishment in itself considering what everyone predicted for us) and playing spoiler to other teams trying to clinch their playoff spots. I am sad when I look at my Marlins schedule and see the games winding down, I love baseball and I miss it when it is over :tissue
