  1. FWIW, Windows Me is one of the worst products, not just for operating systems or computer programs but all products, of all time. It's strange, but my desktop (shared with my brother) ran Windows Me for years and we never really had an OS-related problem. I guess we were lucky but then again it wasn't used much after we got our own laptops. It now has XP, though.
  2. To replace him, the 'topes signed veteran Todd Sears....I want to say he played with us in AA last year or something. Yes, I think he did split time last year with the Mudcats and the Isotopes...
  3. Thanks for checking in, Ryan.
  4. i'm surprised by this. are all of you using laptops or wide displays? or do you mean 1280 x 1024? I'm using a laptop, which has a wider screen than a normal display.
  5. 1280 x 800, although sometimes I wish it could be even smaller (since extra space is helpful in video editing).
  6. Welcome back Chris. :thumbup

You could buy a ethernet hub, which would use your existing port. Then, you can plug both the computer and the XBOX in the hub. It's similar in concept to a cable or telephone splitter.
  8. Wrong Boston should go after him. Josh Beckett killed the Yanks with us and then we all know what happend last time he pitched against them with Boston. Maybe its a reverse curse. Yes, Beckett did well in Game 6, but remember he was 1-1 in the World Series...
  9. I think the Yankees still use the old ones. No wonder the Marlins don't use them...must the Yankee influence that Joey Pitbull embodies... I don't think Boston uses them either. :plain
  10. Nice graphics, Beetle. :thumbup
  11. Congratulations! I know what it feels like to finally get that dream internship - I just started a summer internship at my favorite Portland TV station after trying to get in there for two years.
  12. :o  Well, I can't actually say I'm that surprised, although it is disappointing...

  14. A Toronto D-Train? May 18 Toronto Sun (scroll down): "An interesting note in New York's Newsday yesterday. In an article speculating on the potential move of Florida Marlins right-hander Dontrelle Willis, the Jays suspected interest was broached." Well, I think that shows how credible the report is...
  15. Like MarlinsFans46, I'm a music major, but plan to go into TV as a career. My 10-page paper is on the concertos of Antonio Vivaldi ("The Four Seasons" among others), and while I don't hate him nor the music, I really don't want to do this assignment. I'm 1 1/2 pages through and it's due on Friday! :thumbup :plain
  16. What platform (PC, PS2, etc.) are you using?
  17. :balloons Happy Birthday! :balloons Have a good 97th. :mischief
  18. They also had the feature on this morning's edition of The Early Show. :thumbup Mudcats pitcher Ben Julianel speaks for a few seconds.
  19. Honestly, I don't think this is a "slump" as it is things beginning to balance out.

  21. :lol Marlins2003 you crack me up. For what it's worth, he is correct about needing to cite sources, not just for what he said above but also because we don't want the site to be accused of plagarism.
  22. I'm just worried about German's straight BB in 8th, but Herges' pitches are good. When will we sweep it away in series ?? Maybe it was vs. Rocks?? ^^ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From South Korea, I'm a big fan of Hermida Herges did a great job today. It's nice to see him bounce back from the slightly shaky appearance on Monday. Welcome to the site! :thumbup
  23. Didn't anyone notice that it was the right move today? I did. There's no way that Willingham would have attracted that much attention on the bases. As ShaqandWade323 rightly stated in the game thread, without the balk, the Marlins wouldn't have been able to do what they did. Even the wild pitch might not have been thrown, as the pitcher wouldn't have been as flustered...

Finals at Colby don't start until May 17th... but I think all of the classes I'm taking this semester don't have any. I wish their final projects/papers/presentations wouldn't be due until then, though...
