Yeah, Ocean's 12 was one of my top 2 or 3 least favorite movies of 2004. When one of your main plot twists revolves around Julia Roberts pretending to be herself in the film you know you've run out of ideas. Or when the final plot twist negates everything that happened in the last hour of the movie
  2. Go to Berns Steakhouse its the most amazing restaurant ever. www.bernssteakhouse.com/ I second that. Best place ever, although not cheap. I was there a couple weeks ago. There are a bunch of minor-league baseball teams in the area. They include the Tampa Yankees, Dunedin Blue Jays, Clearwater Threshers (Philadelphia), Lakeland Tigers (slightly east of Tampa), and the Sarasota Red Sox (south of Tampa). Those teams are all in the Florida State League. There are more teams on the other coast, in St. Lucie, Vero Beach, Brevard County, Daytona, Jupiter, and Palm Beach. Dont forget about the D-Rays
  3. amazing. Even though the Holocaust remarks are a little out of a line he does KINDA have a point..... I guess :plain i agree that the idea of an announcer jinxing a perfect game is retarded but to bring the Holocaust and Nazism into it is uncalledfor
  4. Pro athletes never cheat on their wives. Id say 90%+ of pro athletes cheat on their wives. did both of your personalities have an opinion on this?

  6. I read it's a sellout. How many people will actually go to this? 40K? sounds right i really dont have a problem with Daunte getting a series in. Run it a few times, maybe mix in a 3 step drop and thats it.
  7. in Kay's defense, he was only trying to out do the stupidity of the caller
  8. i believe he was in the 4-hole when he had that 2 homer game. ok 1 -2 homer game.......what is his batting average in those spots? .240? you must've missed the 5 or so games this year where he's batted cleanup and come through. I watched them all. Anyone have his stats as a 4th or 5th hitter? I think they are deceiving some people. .245 hitters should bat 8th. .294/.333/.618 in 34 ab in the 4 hole .185/.286/.308 in 65 ab in the 5 hole :thumbup
  9. just in case anyone doesnt feel like clicking on the link :lol :lol :lol

  13. Does anyone know if they still do these when the Fish go on the road? My buddy says they stopped, but I swear I saw an advertisment for one three weeks ago. Anyone have any info? i havent heard of one held by the team, maybe a restaurant or bar did one of their own either way, i doubt anyone is showing up for them anyways
  14. MaXx and I are going up to Tampa next month to see FIU football play USF. We're just gonna be there for the weekend. I was wondering if you guys know what else there is to do besides Busch Gardens and a Devil Rays game. Thanks. you should go to Museam of Science and Industry in Tampa, theres always something cool there. For something at night, i agree with going to Ybor City If youre gonna go to St. Pete for a Rays game, i suggest going to The Pier before for something to eat
  15. Two dozen, maybe. And that's low. very low
  16. How did he do? I just got home. :plain I am guessing he did horrible. I'm not listening but for whatever reason Galbizo made the start instead. Not sure if there is an injury involved or not. :thumbup

well i dunno fishfan, they did almost beat usc. They had that game won, the only reason USC won that game was because of Reggie Push...... which would have been seen on the replay but P.C. went against instant replay for that game... instant replay would not have overturned that ill give props to the irish for playing that well, but stop complaining
  18. definitely the Conine play, and possibly the Sheffield catch in the 97 WS in Cleveland I hope they dont use Lowell's hidden ball trick as one of them i could see them doing something stupid like that
  19. TarHeel324 replied to El Guapo's topic in Sports
id rather notre dame just got rid of all their sports programs agreed, i absolutely cant stand anything about the Irish
  20. im a fan of Gnarls and Modest Mouse, but Daft Punk puts it over the top too bad its held at Bicentennial Park
  21. I don't care about anything Hutton has to say about the umps. When calls don't go our way he whines relentlessly but says nothing when they do so. Rich is an honest broadcaster.. if we get a break he has no qualms saying so. I respect and thank him for that. When we get a break Tommy will occasionally say "oh it was very, very close" but that's about it and then rips the other manager for arguing by yelling "HE'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE THE CALL." In my opinion Hutton as no credibility. Hutton tells it the way it is. When on FSN Florida or Sun Sports broadcasts, he's a little slanted towards the Marlins, but he goes straight down the middle if tapped by big Fox for a national broadcast. When an ump blows a call, Hutton will say something about it. When the Marlins catch a break, he will say so. I don't know how often you watch games, but it can't be very often, because T-Hut will tell it how it is no matter which team is in question. I also question your knowledge of the word credibility. To suggest that Rich Waltz is more honest and credible than Tommy Hutton is insane. Great stuff about Loria, he's a good fan. I was only a few seats away from him tonight, and he walked in front of me on his way in and out :shifty To say he's only "a little slanted" is insane and makes me question your knowledge of the words "little" and "slanted" and to suggest he's more credible and honest than Waltz on umpiring calls (the matter at hand on here) makes me question your understanding of the words "honest" and "credible" and of the rules of the game. Have a good night. what do you expect? Tommy is a local color guy, hes supposed to be slanted towards the Marlins
  22. YES!!!!! HATTEBERG SINGLES! Congratulations. I'll get you a cake and write "Was it worth it?" on it for you in big letters. lay off, nobody wants to be a victim of a no hitter

Other than that, their's no other show I can think of that I'd be ashamed of. Some of my friends laugh when I tell them I like Grey's anatomy but I doubt that's a "Guilty Pleasure" i get the same for liking Desperate Housewives
  24. What the f***? I spent an hour trying to get out of the parking lot after the game. 20000 there and it's a free-for-all log jam. What's the deal? Is it always like this? How the hell is it after a sold-out 'Fins game? Jeez. Whose stupid sh*t idea was it to put toll collection right outside the stadium? :banghead It's really bad after Dolphins games. If you need to take the turnpike, I think it's a bit easier to get out to 199th street and make a right onto 27th avenue until you get to the turnpike, the traffic isn't as bad. If I come on the turnpike and park at the first opportunity for stadium parking, what's my best way to the turnpike afterwards? Tonight, the only way I saw to go was where there were 60 million cars free-for-alling into a log jam, both on the way out of the parking lot and up to the toll booth. Not until 45 minutes later and paying 85 cents for the 75 cent toll did it free up. I've looked at this map to try to understand what you said: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formt...S&geodiff=1 If I can get to 27th ave to go around to the turnpike I understand, but is there a way to leave and make that right without being stuck behind everyone going left? Regardless, I gather that going around is faster than waiting through the log jam up to the tolls. Thanks :thumbup the key is just to get as far right as possible. its hard because everybody wants to make the left on 27th. i take 826 to most games, but i almost always go down 199th st to 32nd ave to avoid 27th another thing you can do is park near parking entrance 6 (the northernmost on 26th avenue) and youre closer to the Turnpike
