Im ecstatic.

I do think this works well for both teams, all things considered.

Theo Who?

Huxtable

why did ESPN just say this isnt a done deal yet?>

Cause Physicals still needed to be passed and paperwork needs to be filled out and t's crossed and i's dotted

No use crying like little babies. It's over with.. Accept it.

Uh, don't tell me what to do. I'm actually here and have been loyal to this team, which happens to be my hometeam, since the start. I paid a lot of my hard-earned money to this team. I've been through this before and it's even more painful the second time around. I happen to believe this is a special player we just lost. I don't have to like this. It hurts and if I want to cry "like little babies" I will.

This is me playing the worlds smallest fiddle for you. I don't give a hell where you live. They're still my team too. The "ARE YOU f***ING SERIOUS OHHHH MY GOD" posts are ridiculous.

Maybe if the people that lived there actually went to the games we wouldn't be in this position.

Iowa i feel your frustration man but a lot of the locals on this forum go to the games regularly but dont put it out on the fans who give a damn

Right-hander Jesus Delgado could be the minor leaguer the Marlins receive along with Hanley Ramirez and Anibal Sanchez for Josh Beckett, The Associated Press reports.

Delgado, a 21-year-old reliever, was added to Boston's 40-man roster last week to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. He throws in the mid-90s and keeps the ball on the ground, making him a potential setup man.

Dont know if this was posted.

'03, we all know you are a closet Red Sox fan......so what's not to like about this deal? :p

So the tentative starting lineup is now Castillo, Hermida, Cabrera, Delgado, Lo Duca, LF-??(hopefully not Willingham), Pierre, and Ramirez? Frees up money for a top line starter for one season, I think to save more money Olsen, Johnson, and Vargas are locks for the rotation, or we could go out and get a good LF.

They broke my freakin' heart for forty+ years before I moved to Florida in '02.

At least I got to see some of the greatest ballplayers that ever lived, from Williams and Piersall to Yaz and Pudge, and I got to see Aparicio and Grant and the Big Red Machine and Carbo's HR (and Dent's too...boo) and Mickey and Skowron and Whitey and the list is endless...

uh, you can pretty much cross out Delgado, LoDuca and/or JP.

I could see JP for Rowand still going through, but if Boston took all of Lowell's contract, which was the point of this trade, I dont see why we'd have to get rid of Lo Duca or Delgado.

The team has already said Willy is starting so deal with it.

That's all I;m going to say about this subject. Because apparently you have sh*t for brains and try to bring this up in every thread to start a useless argument that has ended with you looking like an ass that holds a grudge.

by all accounts, Boston did not take all of Lowell's contract. Read earlier posts.

Because it's a seller's market.

That wasn't my point, my point was that money was freed up to hopefully keep at least Delgado. And where was it said Willingham would start? Wasn't it said he'd have to earn it in ST? Well, even if he does win the job dont whine when he is completely horrible.
