Marlins player of the Month?

Hanley.

Think about how bad this offense would be if he weren't (seemingly) always on base.

I almost took Cabrera or Shadez, but their defense has been shaky as hell, while Hammer has driven in a helluva lot of runs and seems to have left the silly plays in LF behind him. Congrats Willy. Here's to a long, fruitful career with the Fish! :D

I voted for Hanley. While I expected Willingham to put up some good power numbers, Hanley has gone above and beyond what I have expected of him.

Hammer, no doubt about it. Cabs does not get one pitch to hit, and Ramirez doesn't get too many rbi chances. That said, Shadez deserves recognition, he gets my second place vote.

I'll take Shadez slightly over Hammer.

Hanley's been on base 40 times to this point, and scored 21. That's ridiculous.

Josh Willingham or Shadez, take your pick! I picked Willingham, he got hits when we needed them, and has by far been the most comforting Marlin to see at the plate in tight situations.

QUICK EDIT: Shadez has been great at the leadoff spot, and has really set the tone for us most of the time.

What do ya'll think about doing medals? Like gold, silver, bronze for the top 3 Marlins of the week?

Hammer.
