June 22, 200620 yr Wow, what a great 9 games. Hopefully tomorrow we can come out and win the final game. Congrats boys. Lets start a new one! :kiss
June 22, 200620 yr I knew it as soon as I saw Reggie in the line-up... LOL i can say the same. yea guys it had to end sometime, but we can easily start another one. just gotta go out there and win the series.
June 22, 200620 yr Yeah we had to lose sometime, and I'd rather lose now than to the Yanks. If we sweep the Yankees it will be an awesome feeling, and it will get so much media coverage as our payroll combined is smaller than a few of their players. Not saying it's gonna happen but the Yankees series is huge, everyone should be pumped for that.
June 22, 200620 yr haha great run guys but we can't expect to win games with that lineup on the field no matter how good our pitching is....no Jacobs and no Uggla...that lineup was ugly. Ross should never hit cleanup...Aguila and Abercrombie? blah.....oh well when Willingham, Uggla, and Jacobs return, we will be solid.

June 22, 200620 yr Good job boys. Now send Reggie down so that the 18 game win streak can start tomorrow.
June 22, 200620 yr The good news is the last time that we got owned like that by a pitcher (See: Schmidt, Jason), the next day we won 8-1.
June 22, 200620 yr I'll be at "The Stadium" tomorrow night, rooting for our boys - a sweep would be nice, but if we have to lose at all, I hope it's not the game I am at! GO MARLINS!
June 22, 200620 yr doesn't sound like a great game...i'm in north carolina, so i haven't been able to watch games for the past few days (including game 6 of the NBA finals) ..was it bedard that pitched? any of the hitters do well?

Uggla was a good bench warmer. Reggie is improving, he figure out not to swing on low curveball.
June 22, 200620 yr Last night Benson pitched the best game of the year... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/bestgames The Marlins have been victims to two of the best pitching performances of the year. Scott Kazmir was the other one. Edit: I meant Bedard...

June 22, 200620 yr I knew it as soon as I saw Reggie in the line-up... I knew it when I notied the lineup was made up of bench players with the acception of a cold hanley, Herm and Miguel
