Posted November 4, 200717 yr I heard a rumor parking was going up to $20 next year. Anyone hear anything on this? It really wouldn't surprise me if it does. Dolphins parking is $30. Wayne has to pay for all these improvements to the stadium some how. I would guess he figures that with so few of us showing up for the games he can make a little of it up this way. Last I checked pre paid parking is the same price for season ticket holders. So if this rumor is true then that is a great deal.

I calculated that between food and parking, I pay a total of $25-$30 already to Wayne and I only pay $9-$11 on average to the Marlins...that's a little messed up imho. Would I stop going to games? No, I love baseball, so that won't stop me, but I might not go as much. Unless Wayne is on Loria's side for alinating fans, this is a dumb move.
November 4, 200717 yr I dont go to enough games so it wouldn't affect me, but $20 to park at a baseball game is ridiculous. Especially considering that driving and parking on stadium lots is the only real option. Other baseball stadiums have public transportation or street side parking. Dolphin stadium doesnt have that, and charging $20 for a baseball game would be wrong. I have no problem with the dolphins charging $30 because there are only 8-10 games a year and most fans get there hours before the game to tailgate.
November 4, 200717 yr wow this sucks looks like the money I saved by no longer having to use the turnpike has been erased yet another another reason why I hate Wayne
November 4, 200717 yr Damn, don't tell me ole Crator-face has found another way of screwing the Marlin's fan!
November 4, 200717 yr consider yourself lucky you dont have to pay ~40 in Boston But in Boston, you have the option of not parking there and walking.
November 4, 200717 yr County may open the Golden Glades Park & Ride more often this season. That would be $5 a game per person I believe.
November 4, 200717 yr consider yourself lucky you dont have to pay ~40 in Boston Green line to Kenmore, who parks at Red Sox games?
November 4, 200717 yr consider yourself lucky you dont have to pay ~40 in Boston Green line to Kenmore, who parks at Red Sox games? There are only like 2 or so lots. Give me a break no one parks for redsox games. Most people take the T or just find parking on the street.
November 4, 200717 yr This would suck, as someone previously said, the tix would be less expensive than the parking. It is messed up. Another dumb move if it happens. Probably he heard the rumor in his dreams or something. But cant you park at the Walmart in DS? Or is it way too far away
November 4, 200717 yr I haven't heard this rumor but it seems unlikely given that pre-paid parking on renewals stayed the same. It seems to me they would have raised that.
November 4, 200717 yr that hurt me because 10 dollar is already high price remember that Wayne donot want us marlins at his place so tell marlins get deal done get out here this might hurt marlins more Wayne (( i want dolphins game that friend gave me ticket for my birthday gift it cost me 25.00 to get in parking lot
November 4, 200717 yr I'll park at the Supercenter and walk rather than give Craterface $20 for parking.
November 4, 200717 yr wait till the new stadium opens and see what ticket prices and parking are THEN, no one will be able to afford to go..... $20 is too high, fish fans get screwed again!
November 4, 200717 yr Do we even know if this is true? No we don't, but I wouldn't doubt it knowing crater face.
November 4, 200717 yr As if they didn't already have a hard time getting people to come to the games...
