April 22, 200816 yr This team is so fun to watch. Our offense is insane, the starting pitching is starting to pick it up and our bullpen is great. Keep making everyone at ESPN look like fools guys!
April 22, 200816 yr Really good to see Uggla have a couple of good games in a row with the bat. It's pretty astonishing really that we've gone 12-7 getting next to nothing after Olsen & Hendrickson. That's a testament to our bullpen and the way the guys have been swinging the bats early on. If another of our starters can get on track, look out...

Nice to bring the HRs overall though I hope we can bring just as much when playing the other NL east teams besides Washington. Oh yeah, and it's always nice to see any pitcher (of ours) have a multi-hit game. And a leadoff double and an RBI single no less.

April 22, 200816 yr I'm happy for Uggla, he is close to be the man from last year. Although he is still striking out a lot. He should be more patient on the plate. It's weird, half of the rotation can pitch 6/7 innings (Olsen and Hendrickson), the other half is not able to throw strikes. Oh, the Mets did not win. Neither the Phillies

While I feel the same, I'm glad we are playing the teams we are while our pitching is so shaky. I'd rather have at least the prospect of getting some of our pitchers back by the time we have to face stronger teams. Plus I think it gives the hitters a lot of confidence they will be able to take into those games. Plus a division lead never hurts, and puts more pressure on the other teams.

Wow...I'd rather have Nolasco and Badenhop. Just watch Nolasco and Badenhop, and be patient. Miller...who knows? Personally, I think Miller still needs to develop in the minors. As for Pinto, he's very valuable from the pen.
April 22, 200816 yr Positives 1. Hendrickson goes 8 innings, and gives us a quality start. 2. The bats were amazing...Uggla and Rabelo had some really good swings tonight...great sign, since they had been struggling. Now 3 games for Uggla performing well, and being more patient at the plate. :thumbup 3. Lindstrom looked awesome in the 9th inning. Negatives 1. Pittsburgh fans have really done a lot of suffering the past 15+ years. I feel bad for them...it's actually a GREAT sports city. Then again, it has nothing to do with our team, so whatever. *I'm now 10-3 on the gamethreads.* W00T!
